well that was a certifiable suffering fest! some harrowing deep east bay stroad riding/on and off ramp crossings, and lots of big, sustained climbing. by far my most elevation gain to date! i am just thrilled i finished, i knew there was a good chance i might have to bail

we went to a modern southern/cajun spot and it was so good the veggie main option was almost like a cajun mapo tofu, it was incredible
