i rly do not like this current thing where ppl with leftist/left-leaning politics just casually use slurs

090

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

sorry im gonna get a little personal, but i need young queer women to understand that codependency is an extremely fucked up thing to experience and as much as i like my toxic yuri in fiction, that shit can and will destroy important relationships in your very real life. do not romanticize it

090

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

gonna turn to the only mental health treatment i trust: yuri

my only contribution to the seven havens discourse is who is she, and is she single? :>

one of my dl pieces must be making the rounds again bc dl-centric accounts are are following main...i feel kind of bad bc i don't rly draw anything for the game anymore. too much baggage

010

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

i don't even play this anymore, but wtf is marvel rivals doing with their skin designs and distribution

120

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

the hate is so weird 😭 ppl saying they felt baited by the direct when there's not a lick of anything to suggest it was a smash trailer lmao

000

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

wishing ppl who draw ships where the dark/darker-skinned partner is several times larger and more beast-like than the fairer-skinned partner a very go to hell

0101

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

seeing ppl get mad over kirby is genuinely so baffling to me, i didn't even know this was possible. it's up there with kicking a puppy tbh

1100

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

that would help a lot, romi!! :) thank you

000

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

i do not like how just a few years on social media has made me more defensive whenever there is an interaction with strangers or ppl i don't talk to very often. the lack of tone indicators certainly doesn't help

090

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

would be cool/fun if arjun's character quirk is that he is a huge fan of Bollywood films and has encyclopedic knowledge abt Indian cinema

i keep remembering this one girl i went to college with who proudly announced that she's a pathological liar and bragged about always lying to her dad. she went on to become a successful podcaster here in the country

040

mischaracterization so bad it set off my fight or flight, i wish i was joking

040

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

im beginning to think im either a bad judge of character or i am not thorough enough, bc i keep mooting ppl who either makes stuff i don't like, or horribly mischaracterize my favorite characters

right? it's funny that this is what the devs came up with when faced with the question of "what are some average american names?" 😭

is it the one with daniel radcliffe? yknow im trying to think of one that i like, but i can't even remember the last biopic i watched 😭

110

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

i like non-fiction coverage abt a person's life (documentary), but not dramatized movies abt someone's life (biopic)

110

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

conversely, i don't really enjoy biopics that much :x

110

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

idk what this says abt my consumption habits, but i love reading non-fiction books, almost all of the books i own are non-fiction (mostly essay collections). the rest of my books are art books. when it comes to fiction, i prefer them as movies, tv and video games ;u;

im a hobbyist bc commissions burn me out and im too lazy to do requests

040

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

guys who feel the need to annoy me when im just venting here are so funny bc why are you doing this in a place that has a nuclear block...what did you expect would happen

070

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

idk what abt this post attracts annoying ppl like you, but catch this block too ig!

000

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

i legit have never seen you comment before and your first comment is to be annoying :))

000

i love blocking ppl who do not like the things i like :) is it shallow? maybe. but it is a simple way to improve my online experience

only "girl is in love with boy" songs that i'll ever accept to be used for yuri are those made by carly rae jepsen

040

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

my biggest faux pas of 2026 so far is sharing nice yuri art, but didn't realize the caption was t**** s**** lyrics until it was too late. im actually pissed off lmao 😭

170

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

gamers (derogatory) will complain abt normal-looking women in their games "ruining their escapism", but will tell you that they think dlss5 giving everyone maga-makeup is awesome lmao

081

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

seeing all of the tribute art for ppl's heroes is bittersweet, but it also makes me scared of the day when it's my turn to draw a tribute post

040

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

idk anything abt their games outside of "they plagiarize", but learning that silent hill f-- and now monster hunter-- is among the games they blatantly copy from has made me an even bigger enemy of this company

070

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

the reason known to the public is bc ripping the pages makes the process "faster and more efficient" but idk, it feels deeper than that. sorry for conspiracy-posting. im just upset

180

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

thinking abt the destructive book scanning method AI companies are doing to rare books, and im wondering if the reason why they go for this instead of existing non-destructive scanning methods is to get rid of other ways to verify/obtain information, and make ppl rely on the AI completely

2102

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

normal ppl: maybe a game every year isn't a good idea bc there is a risk that they might sacrifice quality over meeting release windows least obtuse bsky user: OH SO YOU HATE MORE GAMES

080

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

remember when hoyo was clocked as early as genshin impact for stealing ideas (ppl were calling it "BoTW with waifus" bc humans are a terrible species), but ppl went ahead and played that shit anyway and look where it got us

080

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

at some point, really big artists who turn out to be horrible people cannot be held accountable anymore. their following has become too big, and they're connected with other big artists who will come to their defense just bc "they're moots". nobody gives a shit and they take advantage of that

050

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

when i post smth dumb and start to feel cringey, but my friends humor me and play along 💖💕💝💞💘✨💓🥹

050

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

right?? that's actually always gonna be better ;w;

000

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

ppl taunt artists by telling them to get off the internet if they don't want their work stolen, but all i can think of is "don't threaten me with a good time"

0111

¯\_( 'u' )_/¯ @workplaceoddity.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

i think one of the funniest things when i catch heat from chuds online is they call me all sorts of things, but they never say the art is bad lmao
