Loved the ending of Mox v Ospreay. Mox laughs - he knows what’s coming. He laughs because he has accomplished his mission of turning Ospreay into a weapon. Osprey’s victory is a reflection of Mox’s teachings. But…you know, #AEW doesn’t tell stories. #AEWAllOut

I am convinced Hangman is the Protagonist of AEW and Swerve is the Antagonist. They are the main characters. #AEWAllOut #swerve #hangman

Superb trios match. #AllOut just keeps getting better and better.

So relieved to hear Steven Borden is conscious and responsive. That was so scary. #AEWAllOut

That might be the best women’s tag match I’ve ever seen. That was fun as hell. #AEWAllOut

God I hope Steven is okay - that was very unsettling. #AEWAllOut

So I should be saving money but I got an extreme case of the fuck its and ordered #AEWAllOut. Let's watch some wrestling, sickos!

#WWE 's ads aren't just annoying, they negatively impact our ability to escape into a world of pure imagination. In my latest article for The #WorkOfWrestling Substack, I examine the effect of this dynamic on our collective mind. #WrestleSky workofwrestling.substack.com/p/the-invasi...

I love that Blue Sky works the way social media is actually supposed to work. I've met cool people on here. Nurtured what I dare call friendships! I can write about how much I love Jon Moxley, Orange Cassidy, Timeless Toni Storm, and Willow Nightingale and it's actually seen by real humans.

Growing up I was a WWE-guy and I had the perception that WCW was cheap and cheesy. I wonder if that’s the perception modern WWE fans have of #AEW. #AEWDynamite

I love Jon Moxley. Few wrestlers have been as good as he for as long as he. #AEWDynamite

I'll be honest with you #WrestleSky, writing an original weekly article for free on my #Substack is a challenge. I'm pushing through this feeling though and I've actually written four articles to tide me over for the next month. Feels good to be ahead of schedule.

There's nothing more exciting for an artist than finding your voice, whatever medium you're working in. Once you have it, you can't lose it. It will guide you through the inevitable ups and downs.

I posted about my new #ShortFilm which is currently in production, #FilmSky. It's not about #ProWrestling, but it still might be of interest to you. It's about a #bipolar man learning to cope with his disorder. Check it out! #MentalHealth workofwrestling.substack.com/p/trailer-fo...

You could make an art exhibition of thjs and call it Wrestling Without Wrestlers so folks can marinate on what it means to see a prop without the performer who brings it to life. 🤼 @workofwrestling.bsky.social I feel like you would have some big thoughts about something like that.

Hey #WrestleSky - I got an idea - not sure if it'll become an article or a podcast, but I'd love to hear your stories about gatekeeping in the #ProWrestling community. It's been a real problem for a really long time, and I've never directly addressed it. Let's storm the gate and tear it down!

Sami's title-loss trauma runs deep! (And I suspect always will, the kind of trauma that you can build a character on for years to come).

It’s more a console than any one game. N64. We got it for Christmas one year along with Rogue Squadron and Ocarina of Time. Best Christmas ever.

I love Jon Moxley’s philosophy on wrestling (in and out of character). It’s all about the purity of competition and it’s carried out in the actual moves in his arsenal. He’s an incredible all around performer. #AEWCollision #WrestleSky

One of the clearest differences between #AEW and #WWE is embodied in a talent like Daniel Garcia. In AEW he’s an interesting, occasionally sympathetic character. It WWE he’d never be allowed to show any personality. He’d get lost and squandered.

Catching up on #AEWCollision and I just realized Thekla is one of my favorite AEW characters. She’s funny, she’s tough, she’s a tad weird. There’s nothing to dislike.

Excerpt from my new free article on Substack, #WrestleSky: I styled myself after writers I admired, doing bad impersonations of Allen Ginsberg and Earnest Hemingway. I had a great roommate from Mongolia named Enbo. We went to clubs on the weekend and failed miserably at “getting girls..."

I LOVE number one contender's matches. One of pro-wrestling's most reliable tools for pushing narratives forward. I don't understand why #WWE seems to be so against them in recent years. Glad #AEW embraces them.

Excellent match by Hayter and Cross. It really revealed to me the star potential of Lena Cross as a singles competitor. Good stuff! #AEWDynamite

I think we need to broaden our criteria for evaluating who is “the best wrestler in the world.” For example, Orange Cassidy would be on my list, but I feel like his strengths do not fit within the standard criteria for judging “the best.” What do you think, #WrestleSky? #AEWDynamite

Not so sure about this “Nick Wayne really liked that necklace” story. Nick’s performative instincts are a little too BIG for my tastes. #AEWDynamite #WrestleSky

I love how something as simple as a glance between Mox and Pac says so much. But, y'know, #AEW doesn't tell stories. It's all just about wrestling moves. #AEWDynamite #WrestleSky

Delightful 8-man tag match to kick off #AEWDynamite. Nice sequence of moves at the climax.

Kyle Fletcher has really risen in my "best wrestlers" ranking over the past year of consistently watching #AEW. He's incredible in the ring and an insufferable asshole, a winning combination. #AEWDynamite #WrestleSky

Wrote an article today about how professional wrestling is good for my #mentalhealth. It will come out on my Substack in two weeks. How, you might wonder? Just tuning into #AEWDynamite and knowing what I'll be enjoying for the next two hours is a pleasant rush of endorphins and dopamine.
