WTF: Reading Thomas McGuane's essays about fishing and had just finished an amazing account of Tarpon fishing in Key West. I pivot over to another book, a memoir by Richard Brautigan's daughter, Ianthe – and, I swear, it's a short chapter about tarpon fishing in Key West ... with Thomas McGuane. 😳

Put it this way: I've read most of these stories already, more than once. I read them again. Unsurprisingly exceptional; sentences singularly sensational mashups of poetry and humor. Don't be deceived by the weirdly prosaic, uninspired cover-art and mundane title. This is a high card.
