Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 02/09/2026And now the US has followed suit. Someone probably told agent orange they were a spin-off from those dastardly villains in 'Antifa' 😉🤣 000
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 21/08/2026@britishbirds.bsky.social A leucistic sparrow? Certainly mixing with local sparrows. Couldn't get a clear image of the head because of the foliage. These were taken on my phone at maximum magnification 000
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 14/08/2026How about 2for1: for every 2 patriots built by Ukraine, build one to send to the US as payment. 000
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Yet again he's trying to portray himself as a "victim" or under threat, whereas he's probably at no more risk than any other MP. Unfortunately there are plenty of gullible people who accept whatever he says as gospel. 021

Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 12/08/2026How many of those who posture and complain about 'private pensions' have sufficient capital tied up so as not to worry about getting a pension, or the change from final salary to average salary pension schemes, I wonder? 100
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 12/08/2026From what I've read, her "offence" would have only resulted in a written warning. That should have been made clear from the start. I daresay those involved will play semantic gymnastics and hide behind the staff handbook (if there is such a thing) 000

Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 21/07/2026A couple of years ago some supermarkets stopped selling disposable barbecues. Plenty still selling them, unfortunately. As usual, a minority of irresponsible idiots ruin it for everyone else 000
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 06/07/2026Thankfully (so far) all my appointments have arrived on time. One was "only just" a couple of years ago 😵💫 000
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Here's a thought on the subject of reparations: How far back in time should be considered? Should Britain seek reparations from Italy for the Roman invasion, or France for the Norman invasion 960 years ago? Or maybe France should seek redress for Crecy 680 years ago and Agincourt 611 years ago? 000
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 04/06/2026it's of a later 'A' class, also called Acasta built in the 1920s, so I narrowly avoided making a mistake! Sadly, I haven't found a kit of the earlier class 😕 #histscalemodels 030
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 04/06/2026What a minefield history can be! I wanted to build a model of HMS Shark, which was lost at Jutland. According to Wikipedia it was an acasta-class ('K' class) destroyer (HMS Acasta being the first). I ordered a kit of HMS Acasta, intending to rename, but it turns out it wasn't in stock. What's more, 130
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 31/05/2026Thanks for all the replies As it turns out, the Airfix 1/600 *is* available, and is now on order. I'll see how I get on with that before potentially tackling a more recent 1/700 model 000
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 25/05/2026Trying to source a decent model of HMS Hood. 50+ years ago I had Airfix's 1/600 version (long lost) which now seems very scarce and (very) old tooling. Flyhawk 1/700 a bit smaller but detail looks fabulous. What's Trumpeter's offering like? Anyone built any of the above? #histscalemodels 661
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 25/05/2026Given how much modern cars tie in with mobile phones, there isn't even a need to identify charging points. Even without that, DVSA could bill owners in arrears at MOT: 10,000 miles at 3p/mile = £300, paid off by DD at £25/month Use less, pay less 🙂 100
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 23/05/2026Geez! I've just seen the price for Cosford - £44! It was only £16 the first time I went (mind you, that was over 30 years ago and you could pay at the entrance 🤣) Fairford's a special case, with ongoing operations I think the risk of something happening is too high. Plenty to watch on YouTube 😁 110
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 22/05/2026I did wonder whether it would go ahead. I imagine security would have had to be many x more than usual. I wonder if Cosford will be affected 🤔 110
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 21/05/2026Had a badger in the garden some years ago. Quite a privilege. Got a hedgehog visiting. Looks in good health 🙂 A few bats around at dusk - possibly from the parish church... 220
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 13/05/2026It might be difficult for them to generate enough. Manufacturers need to concentrate more on making systems run more efficiently and use less power. Ditching A.I. would help! 😉 100

Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 06/04/2026It's a bit like painting a target on the building. Mind you, he spends so much time at Mar-a-Lago or Bedminster they'd potentially be secondary targets. I doubt the US is the only country with a "bunker buster" bomb, either. 100
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 05/04/2026He dresses it up by saying they're building a bunker for national security. Does he not think/know there will been contingency locations the administration would be evacuated to in an emergency? When he's gone, the East Wing should be rebuilt and the Trump estate+companies made to pay for it 110

Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 07/03/2026I already have a 1/72 Tornado in my stash (Revell, I think) and am pondering whether to go for one in 1/48 as well. Anyone built the Revell Tornado IDS (2014 tooling)? I'd be looking to build an RAF plane with grey/green camo scheme #HistScaleModels #ScaleModels 171
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 07/03/2026Bear in mind working narrowboats are/were about 70ft long, which scales to a bit over 19" 🙂 Good luck, and enjoy your build 110
Keep watching the skies @worcspaul.bsky.social · 07/03/2026Take a look at Scalescenes kit T018 - once you've paid for and downloaded the PDF (not much over £5) you're able to print off as many times as you like. As you mentioned On30 I assume you're planning on 7mm scale, in which case you'd need to scale up by x1.75. 110
