Slowwwwwly making my way through Line Item chapter 9. I'm still working on it, I promise lol

“Running late today, adjutant?” she asked sweetly, without a hint of malice Hana would expect from anyone else. “Sleep poorly?”

“I always sleep poorly,” Hana grumbled. After brushing her teeth and pulling her hair up, she glanced up at the mirror and locked eyes with Osmond through the faintest sliver of space between the door and frame. She flashed a smile before realizing she was still very much topless and very much visible, even through the tiny gap. Her face burned as she yanked her bra and underwear on and stumbled out into the bedroom again to find her least wrinkled uniform.

“Do you need any help?” Osmond asked, shifting on her bed. She had her typical uniform on, pencil skirt instead of slacks, right panel crossed over the left, every toggle pointing the same way. Freshly pressed too, by the looks of it. Even her hair was put together. With her tablet laid across her lap, she looked the perfect picture of a military aide.

Hana felt even more of a mess next to her.

“I’m okay.” She hiked her pants up and fumbled with the buckle before throwing her undershirt on and struggling with the toggles. Her hands were so shaky and numb she couldn’t get a good grip on the small bits of polished wood.

“Here.” In a flash, Osmond stood so close to her Hana could feel her warm breath against her cheek. With nimble fingers, Osmond slipped each toggle into place, tablet tucked under her arm. “Bad night, I take it?”
“You could say that.” As if getting flustered around Osmond wasn’t bad enough, now she was helping her get dressed! She struggled with her boots; she couldn’t quite feel her toes yet, so putting shoes on was more like shoving a slab of meat into a bag. But she did succeed, to her surprise, but she didn’t even attempt to tie the laces. “It’s hard for me to sleep properly.”

“Bad dreams?”

“You don’t know anything, Kagari. But I know why you’re here.”

Atsuko cocked her head. “And why’s that?”

She didn’t shrink away from Diana’s glare. She didn’t so much as flinch at her tone. This wasn’t the jumpy, spiteful Atsuko she was used to. This room brought something new out of her, a confidence she’d never seen before. This was vengeful Atsuko, and the thought of it terrified her.

“Because you like this. You like…”

“What? Fucking you senseless? Don’t tell me you didn’t like it, considering you came back.”

Diana held up her wand and let the tip drift back and forth. “I came back to get even for last week. You took something from me, and I intend to get it back.”

“There is no spell that can restore your dignity, Cavendish.”

Diana felt her cheeks grow hot. Whether from rage or arousal, it was hard to tell the difference anymore. All she knew was she needed to see Atsuko bent over and whimpering. And she needed it now.

“Maybe not. But there’s a spell that can take yours.”

Atsuko rolled her eyes again. Nine, that just put her even more on edge.
This. Girl.

“I’d love to see what you think could possibly do that,” Atsuko said, voice dripping with sarcasm.

“Like I said, bend over.”

“Make me.”

Working on a small Diakko project. I think it's going to be a good one :)

“Scared?” Atsuko teased.

“No!” She wasn’t scared! Just… nervous. She tried to press her thighs harder together, as if that would somehow stop her body from betraying her.

“Diana Cavendish, princess of Luna Nova, is scared!” Atsuko tried to underscore her point by unclasping Diana’s bra, but only succeeded in twisting the straps around. She grunted and tried again, but pinched Diana’s back instead. “S-Sorry,” she mumbled, “this is way harder than when I practiced.”

“Wait.” Diana sat up, bowling Akko right back onto her ass. Both hands slapped against the floor, and Atsuko looked up with the most indignant look Diana had ever seen. “You practiced?”

Atsuko hunched forward and crossed her arms. “So what? You practice everything all the time. Like your handwriting.”

“That’s different than practicing getting a bra off! Wait, so all that talk about undressing women, let me guess, you practiced that too?”

"Shut up," Atsuko mumbled.

But Diana had her on the back foot now! This was her chance. “So this is all bluster, then? You have as much experience as me!” She didn’t feel the need to mention that meant none whatsoever; no reason to undermine her point. She scrambled onto her hands and knees and moved forward to loom over Atsuko, sliding out of her shirt in the process. Once she was above her, she took the opportunity to unclasp her bra and let it fall. Atsuko’s eyes went wide, mouth half open in silent appreciation. But Diana had eyes only for her.

Atsuko was enchanting in the moonlight. Pale skin rendered silver, crimson eyes wide and soft. This is where she really belonged! That feeling on her knees for Atsuko had been a moment of weakness. Diana was meant to lead. And she would do so.

“Unbutton your blouse,” she ordered, voice a low growl.

Atsuko pouted and turned her head to the side. “Do it yourself.”

Diana was floored. Well… now what? She wasn’t really sure what to do; she’d expected obedience. No one ever talked back to a Cavendish.

“Not exactly. There’s a difference between not worrying at all and accepting the worry.”

Akko looked over at her, unblinking. “Now you sound like a therapist.”

Diana cleared her throat and looked away. She squeezed her eyes shut, ready to die of embarrassment. “I, uh… The Cavendish family employs only the best.” Oh great, now Akko knew she was also falling apart at the seams. She’d just already had someone stitch her back together.

A heavy weight settled on her legs, and her eyes slammed open to see a smiling Akko perched on her lap. “It was still good advice,” she said, giggling. “Even if you did steal it from your therapist.” She reached over and squished Diana’s face between her hands. “You’re so cute when you’re embarrassed.” With another laugh, she stood up and stretched, her shirt lifting just enough to show her stomach.

Oh. Akko certainly had gained weight. And she carried it well. Too well. Diana cleared her throat again and averted her eyes. “W-Whatever,” she managed to get out, ignoring the warmth in her cheeks and the longing burning deep in her stomach.

My next OC project. Not sure when I'll start posting it. Sci-Fi military drama/romance about autonomy and identity.

Perdition-class starfighters have no pilots. The trillion dollar triumph of military engineering and ingenuity instead utilizes a complex, proprietary “neural core” AI to optimally run all systems and make intelligent, strategic decisions in defense of the Nation. The only living being on a Perdition starfighter is its Adjutant Engineer, a rigorously trained specialist who maintains the systems and ensures their efficient operation on assignments. It is a highly prestigious position that plays a central part in the Nation’s righteous struggle against destabilizing forces.

Or at least, that’s what the propaganda says.

She believed it at first. It’s what kept her clean of implants throughout her education and training. It’s what kept her disciplined, kept her focus honed on this one goal, the one duty she was groomed from birth to fulfill. The one role she was destined to play in securing the Nation’s future.

Until she met P-555, a footnote in cargo manifests and an empty space on crew rosters.

A woman who does not exist.

A Perdition-class pilot.

Hell yeah. I'm obsessed with all the details that make the story just a bit too murky to actually be solved. Like, what exactly is the red gate? How much of the game is literal and how much is bioresonance projection? We'll never know because the devs never talk about the story (and that's good).

I live near the Cascade mountain range, there's tons of great hikes there, usually in state parks. On the other side of the Puget Sound is Olympic National Park which has *tons* of amazing hiking as well, Hoh Rain Forest in particular is one of my favorites. Here's a picture I took at Hoh.
