Talking about art style will always bring in those people claiming they don’t have a style And I can assure you, at least 99% of you do, you just don’t recognize it. There is something about your art that is very you. Your lineweight, your voice, skills, lack of skills It’s there!

Don’t let the desire to make “good” art stand in the way of making art. Make bad art earnestly and joyfully. Pour your heart into poorly executed, derivative creations. And maybe it will end up “good” eventually or maybe it won’t, but either way you got to experience the magic of creating.

I found the game by chance. I was just randomly scrolling through the App Store and thought “Wow that game looks gorgeous!” I stayed because of the gameplay and the amount of content in the game.

the best feeling is finding a fic so good it makes you open the author's ao3 only to find a bunch of equally good but slightly different works that will feed you for days

Currently my favorite thing about deciding to write a fic is now the multiple tabs I have open about things that I need to research so I dont sound like a fool when I'm writing. I'm learning so much about fishing nets today!

Another tip for newbies: You can bookmark a post by commenting on it with a 📌. Once you've done that, it will appear in your "my pins" feed (link below). These are only visible to you. (Also I mute the emoji so I don't have to see it every time someone pins something!) bsky.app/profile/did:...
