memoirs of a survivor - I read this for my uni class on apocalypse novels but tbh I was deeply confused 😭 I think I need to think about it a bit more deeply but so much of it was hallucinations that I found it difficult to follow. It was interesting but so miserable I didn't enjoy it much

deliver me- maybe I've gone off "weird girl lit" but this just felt like a slog to me😭 there was so much going on but none of it felt very meaningful or interesting. It's also categorised as horror which I didn't get at all from it beyond a couple of shock value scenes. Even though I didn't love -

so people know it's me- in retrospect this was such a nice short book, for some reason it reminded me of the final chapter of the stranger. I just wish the characters felt a bit more fleshed out but it was also 140 pages so that's probably unreasonable 😭

The wall- this took a while because it was so slow paced but after letting it marinate this was kind of excellent. It's so mundane but at the same time so refreshing to read a book about a woman who genuinely enjoys living alone.
