Feels like he wrote it before the postseason even started and then just filled in some stats without changing anything else.

You can't single out any specific batter because they were largely all bad. I know I've been snarky about Acuna, but he doesn't deserve the hate being lobbed at him (except for the Kalshi deal... hate on that all you want). Now to look forward to... whatever season happens next year.

Every batter not named Michael Harris II (and a little bit Ozzie Albies) struggled. Maybe it's because they faced some of the toughest pitching in the league for 7 straight games. Maybe it's because playoffs got in their heads. Who knows. But the offense struggled, and that was this team's demise.

My take on the Dodgers series: the pitching was not the problem. We got TWO bullpen games that went well. The pitching kept the Dodgers to 3 runs for the majority of all four games, which is wild. They got beat a little by Freddie and a lot by "oh yeah, this guy." Not Ohtani, not Betts, not Smith.
