I also have this other somewhat more recent book, which I use as a more fun way to record wol lore as I come up with it than typing it in my notes app. Peak self indulgence is having an entire book for your made up guy

A lot of gaming journals I've seen are more about writing in character, which I'd also like to try someday, but this one was inspired by the journaling style anime and kpop fans were doing on youtube and tiktok in like 2019/2020 haha. There are so many ways to take it though, endless possibilities

Xiv lends itself really well to something like this, being such a big game with so much content. Keeping track of when I did certain things and writing down my thoughts made me slow down in a good way, and it's fun to look back on the pages and remember what I was doing/thinking at the time

I also have commissions open on ko-fi if you'd like to support that way. As a note, I had to take it easy for a bit after aggravating my wrist injury last month, so I wouldn't be starting on any new comms until I've made more headway on my current queue (~a week or two) ko-fi.com/neutruel/com...

It happened, my student loans drained the last of my savings. I was hoping to have enough to carry me through the end of my lease (August) but no such luck.. I have started a goal on my ko-fi page, anything helps so much ko-fi.com/neutruel

Notes app screenshot. Image text:

Basically my parents were conned into predatory private student loans to pay for my schooling and since graduating the debt became my responsibility, and because of the massive debt amount and terrible interest rates the monthly payments are unsustainably high. The area I currently live in is convenient for me getting to work and for my sibling (who I currently support financially) getting to school, but it's expensive because of that—my pay can cover the rent and utilities, but pretty much only that. I saved up for other expenses before my sib and I moved here, and honestly I've been taking drastic measures to stretch it as far as possible, but between the loan payments and costs I couldn't have planned for the savings are all gone now.

Notes app screenshot. Image text:

I was able to pay rent for June, but once my loan payments charge for the month I won't have enough for July or August. This monetary goal is to make up the amount I'll be short on rent and utilities for the next two months, as well as application fees, moving costs, etc. for getting settled in our next place (with cheaper rent).

Any help is so extremely appreciated. If you know me you know I feel super bad and embarrassed asking for help like this, and I know everyone is in a tough spot right now, but it's about all I can do at this point. Thank you for any help or even just for reading this. 🙏
