Any technological advancement has only ever benefited employers by making us more productive. Then employers expect more. We’re producing more than we ever have in human history. But workers don’t see the benefits. That needs to change.

I was so closeted and terrified anyone would find out. Even if I’d been given a choice, the other boys would question why I chose not to. My older brother, who is also gay, tried changing in a stall in junior high school. The other boys kicked the door in on him.
