(3/3) At the very start of the project I had to create tech assets that I never tackled before, for textures I ended up creating a PBR 512x512 atlas shared between all of them.

(2/3) There was extensive use of Substance Painter for this project's assets. First baking from high to low detail geometry, then creating the materials by combining procedural layers and hand painting details.

🧵(1/3) Extremely proud of this world commission I finished in July for @strasz.bsky.social Everything was fully scratch modeled, and textured excluding the potted foliage being assembled from Quixel Megascans. This is what human art made with care and passion looks like, support artists!

What a spit in the face to the actual artists who built your platform who have sunk countless hours in creation for the love of it, and get nothing in return. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how I feel, then again you guys never cared for us world creators have you? It really shows.

I will never forgive Downpour Interactive being bought by meta and shooting itself in the foot and killing Onward

vrc is what sold me on vr in 2017 and made me get a headset in 2019

I genuinely think vr would have gone extinct if it wasn't for social vr platforms
