It’s OK to be frustrated! You’ve been dealing with a lot. It’s OK to step away, and take a breather! If you feel your line work needs work, have you tried finding a YouTube video/tracing another person’s work, to study their technique? Sometimes seeing what someone else does can help clarify things!

As a small aside, it may have been that they were using mechanically processed meat? It seems the only reason why the would be unable to use "steak" in isolation, is if they were using mechanically separated meat, AKA pink slime.

OK, after doing some cursory research, it seems they did use beef, but maybe used ground beef patties? At least in the 1995 one with a similar name.In 1990 Jack In the Box sold actual cheesesteaks, named correctly, so it's moreso about skipping past the "steak" part. Huh.

I’d love to imagine that the Companion has a predilection towards extreme violence, due to coming from a sanitized world. It’d be a fun dynamic, where the MC has to balance his stronger, nuanced sensibilities with the companion’s eager curiosity to explore taboo and graphic stuff

TBH, smaller items, like stickers, can be somewhat cheaper, and fun to share! But something like a tshirt would require a lot of buyers to get a profit margin from that, and would probably require a fair amount of money to bulk order. Certainly something fun to aspire towards, but labor intensive

It's OK! Not everybody needs tshirts and big merch! As fun as those are, they rely a lot on social media promotion, and economies of scale. You'd need an audience big enough and willing to buy enough, that you can purchase a bulk order from a factory

Like, if you were giving someone gift art, you would want it to be something meaningful. Maybe the artist has a style they like, or the artist is a mutual friend, so it’s a 2-in-1 kinda deal. Treating it as though it were just a fun image spits in the concept of artistry in a way that feels weird.

And I wasn’t someone who was fixated on grades. I was an average student, who took notes, and tried to pass all my tests. I never took honors courses, and never took AP classes. I managed to eek out a 1400 on my SATs, which is alright, but that was my (roughly normal) experience with HS.
