Good morning! Please see the attached memo issued from the Florida Department of Education regarding HB549: Gulf of America. Schools are advised to apply an adhesive note stating the change from Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America to all non-fiction books with these references ACQUIRED AFTER JULY 1, 2025. You are NOT required to search existing library materials. As the term "library materials" includes all classroom libraries for self-selected reading, this rule also applies to classroom libraries. These adhesive labels were given to media specialists at our meeting on November 18, 2025 and I am in the process of ordering more.

Currently in Poland. The light hit my ibuprofen package just right and I noticed it had Braille on it. Quick search said this was a requirement in the EU, but not the US. Our oligarchy really sucks. It could be so much better in the US.

#travel #Bugatti This might have slipped by you but Bugatti, yes, that Bugatti (Casa Bugatti), also has a line of Moka pots. This is their volcano one although some who I have shown it to think it is a chicken. Pretty sure it is a collector's item now.

#travel #Tallinn In Tallinn (and elsewhere) we kept running across Halloumi food items. I had never heard of it before. It is a 'squeaky' cheese and is so good when grilled!! Too bad it is so hard to find in the US! This was at a Hesburger, some of the best fast food I have ever tasted.

#travel ✈️🗺️ We loved Christmas in Salzburg! My big gripe with it was that since it is a pretty small town, everything being closed for days on end over the holidays (Dec. 24,25,26,31,Jan 1) made for too much down time, too few restrooms, too little shopping.
