These are four shots from the "Andor" episode "Welcome To The Rebellion," which opens with the senator from Ghorman being arrested or pulled out of the Senate Building by stormtroopers.

The four panels iillustrate the lawless military force coming in, taking the Senator who cries out for help from other Senators, none of whom risk their standing to help him, even as he warns that if he is being taken, any one of them can be, too.

This mirrors the Trump Regime using the D.O.J. and ICE to raid sitting Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's house. Congress should immediately be called back into session to shut this shit down, but it won't be. Fuck this Regime. Fuck the Empire. Fuck MAGA and its supporters.

I cannot recall the last time I watched a film that so compellingly developed act to act to become something new & grow into something impressive. Honestly, the last time was probably "Colossal" and "Digger" feels similarly wonderfully original, but being about big issues, instead of the personal.

Fiber arts artists do not receive nearly enough respect for their art. The culture surrounding devaluing the art that is predominately woman-made is astonishingly cutthroat and disheartening. Supporting artists is much easier when others in the field aren't so eager to screw over other artists.
