(6/5) I do not care if this is gonna get me put on some childish blacklist, if you are offended by this you are part of the problem

000

Wito @wito.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

(5/5) Closing this with a quote I did not think I will have to use in this context but whole thing being so stupid it falls into this: "If buying isn't owning, piracy isn't stealing"

100

Wito @wito.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

(4/?) How is it that this is not an issue for the 3D models? There you get everything in a whole package, you do not have to pay x2 of not x4 for the source files if that would even be an option cause sometimes it's not.

100

Wito @wito.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

(3/?) And do not even start with your standard "but my techniques / trade secrets". You are not scared of them leaking, you are scared cause you know that you are locking people to yourself and don't them to have any freedom, just like live2D does with its locked format.

100

Wito @wito.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

(2/?) I seen cases of riggers just randomly vanishing into the void without any way of contact forcing rigged clients to pay for a whole new rig just cause there was no access to the cmo3 making them essentially pay twice for a whole model.

100

Wito @wito.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

(1/?) I am gonna chime in a little on the Live2D moc3 to cmo3 decompilers stuff seeing the Chinese one show up. Whole thing would not be exist if riggers wouldn’t be so fucking stubborn with giving the source files to the clients.
