I watched #ForgottenIsland last night and when I tell yall I was CRYING!! 😭 I grew up moving a lot because of my dad being in the army. So I was never able to grow up with any of my friends. Once we got close, it was time to move again. But my friendships have always been like my chosen family 💕

I've spent the past week getting rid of old clothes and taking out my Fall wardrobe from the attic. I'm a terrible packrat, so it felt very refreshing getting rid of all the clutter! I also discovered I went up a size, so now I get to reward myself with new outfits 🙌🏽

Day 30 #MangaLoveChallenge My favorite read for this month would have to be Shinobi Undercover. I'm really enjoying the story and sense of humor it has! I can't help rooting for the MC and cheering, whenever he makes progress with his social skills. Also when he's in his element of being a ninja 🥷🏽

I haven't gotten very far, since I just started reading it. But I really want to see the MC get her revenge on her parents. They only cared about her sister's powers and acted like she was a screw up. I want them to beg for forgiveness or be kicked out of the clan, something!!!

Day 28 #MangaLoveChallenge I read Bride of the Barrier Master. It's very similar to The Ogre's Bride! The MC's sister was a "gifted prodigy" so her parents treated her like trash. When her powers finally awakened she was stronger than her sister. And the head of the family asked her to be his bride.

Day 25 #MangaLoveChallenge a new manga I've been reading this month is I Fell into a Situationship with the Vampire Count. The MC is so desperate to escape her scum fiance. That she runs away to be with the rumored Vampire, that lives in the scary house nobody goes near. It's a refreshing read!

Day 24 #MangaLoveChallenge My fav besties are Gon & Killua from Hunter x Hunter. Also Goten & Trunks from DBZ. They're both just adorable BFFs! My fav friend group is from Love is Hard for Otaku. It's a healthy group of mature nerdy friends. Very similar to my own friend group and I love it!

Im usually not a fan of horror or gore. But recently I've been giving it a chance, thanks to my friends being such huge fans of it. This manga isn't so heavy with it. And I think I enjoy it because he's getting revenge and giving the bullies their karma.

Day 23 of #MangaLoveChallenge I actually have read a manga outside my comfort zone. It's called Koisuru Psycho no Shirayuki-kun. It's about a yandere boy who gets revenge for his crush, by getting rid of all his bullies. And in exchange, his crush will go out with him.

I'm glad we get to see more of their relationship in Super. We got the iconic "That's my Bulma" scene. Vegeta stayed on Earth and didn't join the tournament with Goku bc he wanted to be present for his daughter's birth. And I love how Whis is BFFs with Bulma. So maybe he could get special treatment?

Day 18 #MangaLoveChallenge My favorite comfort read would probably be a classic Magical Girl manga ✨ Shugo Chara, Cardcaptor Sakura or Tokyo Mew Mew! It's very nostalgic for me bc I was obsessed with magical girls growing up. So it's always a heart tugging read when I pick one of these up 🥹

Day 17 #MangaLoveChallenge an antagonist I find interesting is Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez from Bleach 🗡️ I already liked him immediately based off his character design! He has so much aura and knocked the chip off the MC's shoulder in their first fight. I also like how he fights fair on equal footing

Day 14 #MangaLoveChallenge I read Stalker Stalks Stalker! It's about 3 guys on the same college campus that are in a love triangle. The main 2 are childhood friends and the 3rd guy is a random from campus. They're all doing creepy things towards their "crush" that are 💯 stalker level. Very good read

I LOVE romance series, but my main struggle is finding good ones that aren't based in HS 😩 I can't enjoy predictable teen relationships with so many red flags. I crave mature romance, where they know how to communicate and set boundaries etc. It's much more enjoyable without all the overdone cliches

So far I love the humor & it's been refreshing to read something that's not predictable! I also love that the MC is socially awkward
