I just watched a buncha IVDD/disabled dachshund influencers share their stories about their dogs. Sportsball has stage 1 IVDD so if we take action now, he will hopefully be back to normal but it’s going to take some time.

Just not great timing with having to take in my Mom’s dogs. Keeping them separate for now so he can rest, he’s still in pain and occasionally cries out in his sleep despite the painkillers he’s on.

It’s round 2 of the universe trying to destroy me. Sportsball woke up last night at 3am crying out in pain, turns out, my boy has IVDD and slipped a disc. So I took him to the 24 hour emergency vet and now he’s on a pile of pills and crated for four weeks.

i wouldn't say it's better, just different. It's a steamer all/in one kinda thing, can cook rice but also steam dishes. It's really popular in Taiwan, its also one of those you buy one for life and you never need a new one. This one is pretty new but it looks like it's straight outta the 80s

I walked Raimie today for almost 2 hours because she keeps crop dusting my house but won't poop. She finally pooped but whew, one dog down two more to go 🤪 She likes to sleep near your face. I woke up with Sportsball and Raimie snoring in my face 🥰

This month has been the most insane month of my life. If you have aging parents, I 100% recommend establishing power of attorney over medical and financials. I went from having 1 dog to 3 dogs and it's overwhelming but we'll get through it

Most local news networks around the US (including radio and paper) are being bought out by large conglomerates like Sinclair, Cox and w/e. anywy i enjoyed book 1. i like getting older prints because the cover art is usually more fun and all the funny weird quirks that sometimes comes with these printing. There's a few times when they misspell Vanye's name as Vance. The lower case h was holding more ink so it would print as a blob lmao

theres also a short lived comic adaption by jane fancher who worked on elf quest and i need these!! the art looks great! fancher met cherryh while working on it and they lived together as 'just friends' then something something obergefell vs hodge passed and they got married. IS THIS QUEER LIT?!
