I plan to make my own domain and to use ComicFury once I actually have pages ready for upload. In the meantime you can find my progress pieces and wips on www.tumblr.com/blog/witchgl... which is not much better than bsky but at least doesn't have dev-sanctioned hatelists against minors.

slowly drawing a dark fantasy comic. I'm also on bluesky.

So because @bsky.app refuses to moderate their app and thinks it's a good idea to give random unhinged users the power to mod, I won't be using this anymore. Seeing literally dozens of minors get put on adultnsfw accs hatelists and have the mods do nothing has soured me to this place. (3/)

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

I've seen minors mass-targeted by nsfw porn discourse accounts, bluesky does nothing. I've seen trans people get auto-labelled as transphobic, @bsky.app does nothing. In fact, almost every trans person gets auto-labelled transphobic until they're personally vetted by the creator. (2/)

I'll be blanking this account soon and eventually moving to my own domain once I have it set up. Bluesky's refusal to add an "opt in/opt out" feature for labelers and lists makes this place awful and unsafe honestly. (1/)

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

I used to hate drawing backgrounds and I'm still not Great at executing them but I've grown to really love doodling little faraway buildings with their little window shutters and aaaah

000

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

bsky really needs to sort out things like their auto-labelers and blocklists because at this point they have zero utility and just end up targeting random people

010

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

I agree with all this on the basis of properly crediting and paying for any form of labour but I also have no idea what a manu is. So I am leaving a vaguely confused like.

000

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

this poor little fucker is the cutest thing I have ever drawn

020

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

that's basically their whole vine. if I was as petty as them I'd make a "bsky users who are weirdly angry at children for not liking their horribly drawn homestuck porn" blocklist.

210

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

The deranged person who put me on a "annoying people" blocklist is 27 and has public "antiship" blocklists where they list minors as young as 15 on the list. And not just one or two, like a quarter of the people on their lists are CHILDREN.

110

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

I'm literally on blocklists like "used the word shitlib once and it hurt my feelings" and "annoying people" with no explanation or description. Y'all need to grow up for real lmao.

110

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

I think we should make a blocklist for people who misuse blocklists lol. Some of you are like mean highschoolers with this shit and then you're in your 20s. Go outside!

110

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

you can block a million trans people and the rest of us will still see you for the useless bootlicker that you are.

Webcomic creators - ComicFury needs our help! ComicFury is basically the last of the old-school webcomic hosting sites and the mod Kyo needs more financial support if he's going to continue. If you host on ComicFury, I encourage you to support Kyo at patreon.com/comicfury or ko-fi.com/comicfury! 🐊📖

this poor twink is way too cute and fluffy to be in my comic and I feel very bad for him honestly

this guy has such aura and he's literally nobody

010

The Curse of Witchglaive @witchglaive.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

I don't understand this because literally you just write a normal person and then have him fuck men, it's not hard. I use mods to romance Heinrix and I only even notice it was intended as a het romance in One Scene that specifies your pronouns. He could just ben bi and nothing would have to change.

I actually am not far enough into One Piece to know much about Luffy's sexuality but yes this checks out

Even with them being canonically straight there's genuinely more chance of them fucking than fighting because that's how little chance there is of them fighting

Yeah I'll love a media for it's narrative themes and characters and then I go into the fandom and the majority of it is grown-ass men yelling very aggressively like "Bishounen Ass Blast Stage 5 could NEVER beat Yaoi Fuck Master Super Major 9, you're delusional if you think otherwise!"

I just needed to get this out of me because I'm so tired of seeing the game praised as a masterpiece when it's mid at best and at worst it's a display of all the writer's unexplored prejudices towards basically anyone who isn't a white cis queer, but is somehow praised for its representation.

it's true I have the right to amass my own personal meme hoard but also whenever I'm drawing Not The Comic all I can think is "damn I really need to lock in and draw The Comic"

It was about specific comments made to this post that were trying to rewrite fandom drama to all be the other sides fault but yes if you totally remove my comment from its wider context it can probably mean whatever you want.
