It’s National Coming Out Day so lemme reshare and reiterate that I am Bea. I am a trans woman. And every day since telling you all has felt more real than the last. Into the wild pink yonder~

In the Diner in Chapter 5, Yellow says "The problem with menus, they have too many prices and values". This is a reference to Homestuck, specifically a Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff comic where Sweet Bro says "the selection has too many... PRICES and VALUES".

Yesterday was both my first time riding public transport while dressed from head to toe in women's attire, and also my first time going to a big public event dressed as such. The LA metro was experiencing massive delays so it was stressful as heck, but I felt so good about myself regardless. 💕

from my experience, average Nintendo fans don't like any criticism of the games they enjoy in their eyes, Nintendo can do no wrong and any opinion that deviates from that is blasphemy, and nuance is alien to them

NieR Automata did it awesome, i think. iirc, they have several difficulty modes, including a brutal difficulty, and then they have auto-play where you just move your character towards the enemies and they do most of the work all game companies could learn a thing or two from that game.

hot take: Wuk Lamat is a great character, Dawntrail is a good expansion, and there's a ~99% chance that if you hated her or the expansion, you're either transphobic, or a giant child, with a 1% margin of error

Vivian @witchdaggercat.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

no wonder i haven't wanted to log into FFXIV and interact with people as much as i used to. Shadowbringers (esp. with it launching during the height of COVID) and Endwalker, coupled with the controversy around Blizzard pushing people out of WoW, attracted just a ton of shitty people to the game

020

Vivian @witchdaggercat.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

of course SE wouldn't give her anything, the population has been disproportionately skewed towards people who throw a tantrum when THEIR character isn't the MAIN focus for once, and they HAAAAAAAATED that (actually, people just use that as their main disingenuous excuse for being transphobes)

110

Vivian @witchdaggercat.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

the unwarranted vitriol towards Wuk Lamat coupled with disingenuous comments (just come out and say you're transphobic), the initial defense of Sena Bryer by SE, and then Wuk Lamat getting absolutely shafted as far as merch or until we JUST NOW got SOMETHING that's just hers with this latest Rising

Vivian @witchdaggercat.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

i was just watching some older FFXIV content from a content creator my partner and i just recently started watching, and was reminded of how shitty the community has become since Shadowbringers... (cont'd)

Keighley's disinterest in excluding AI trailers really devalues the whole thing. These events are rarely to my taste, but the experience of watching "ONL" was one of watching slop. Even non-AI games are tainted by the association — we have to second-guess, every time.

Absolutely fucking gutting

Speaking on why she remained closeted until age 36 and whether she has had relationships with women, Panettiere stated, "Yeah, I did. It was scary, though, because there were paparazzi always waiting for me outside, to follow me everywhere. I had very little privacy. I have dated women. I was much more into women even as a child than I was men. I have explored it, but because I hadn't shared this with anybody, I didn't really have the courage to throw myself fully emotionally into it. Because then if I did fall in love, that wasn't something that I wanted to ever have to hide."[83]

I really don't like the assumption that every single autistic person is the same and needs the same level of interaction despite some of us being more vulnerable than others while also being thrown under the bus by other autistic people.
