I finished school at 3.45pm, to catch a train from my local station at 4.40pm. An 18 minute delay in boarding, turning into a 36 minute in arriving into London, I have been through security and passport control at St Pancras, and I finally feel like I am on my way. #AndRelax ##ARIRANG #ParisD2

It's still too fucking warm to do anything involving an iron, but needs must. Pleating is complete, waist ties are made and attached to the waistband, one side of the waistband has been attached to the body of the skirt. Next, approx 1.5m of hand slipstitching on the i side of the waistband 😐

Also, with apologies if I'm rehashing points already made... Not only did the overlapping horizontal pleats, sashes and skirts, and hardware/studs, help the cohesion of the overall group look, they reminded me of the armor that Eastern nation armies wore in their middle eras.

I working on finding patterns for #SewingArmy to recreate some of the looks they wore. I've a pretty good idea for Joon and Yoongi's shirts, and Jin, Tae, and Hobi's jackets, plus the backing dancers trousers, already. I'll do a breakdown thread once I have full details.

If I were in charge of such things, I would insist that the opening date is a Saturday evening*, and is livestreamed both online and in cinemas. * Assuming the first show is in Korea (and that the majority of people are freer at weekends) they can catch ARMY on both sides of the time differences.

November's ##MonthlyMusicMoment was Turin Brakes at Birmingham Institute. A band I've sort of, maybe, kept an eye on for around 25 years, as terrifying as that sounds. All those years have seasoned them into a mighty live unit though. And, if you'll allow me to be uncouth for a moment: Gale 😍

For the first of my #MonthlyMusicMoments, I made a three hour round trip to see And So I Watch You From Afar play at Gloucester Guildhall. A post-rock/math-rock four piece from Northern Ireland, I have seen them twice before. Last night was their best showing though, because the crowd was *on it*

I went #Namjooning at Tate Modern yesterday, seeing Do Ho Suh's 'Walk the House' exhibit for the second time. It was even more astonishing than I had remembered. He's clearly quite mad, but in the loveliest, most positive way. It's running until October 26th. I recommend in the strongest terms.

This time, two weeks ago, I was regretting not getting tickets to both nights at the O2. Alas, I had heavy adulting to do first thing on the Thursday. I could have done it time-wise but not mental acuity-wise. I have come to realise that I am fully, platonically in love with this man.
