The series had been improving on itself since that first season and became an amazing sci-fi series. I felt like this season tried to juggle a lot of balls and dropped most of them. It does take a few stumbles but manages to sidestep obvious stupidity. Mostly the series successes comes from the presence of the actors, especially Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, and Alfre Woodard. OTOH, Good Boy is successful in its ambition and creepiness. Of the two, I liked Good Boy better. 030 3

This was a fantastic locked-room murder mystery in a unusual fantasy world. The Leviathan sequels are now on the top of my TBR list. (Also highly recommended: his Divine Cities trilogy.) 000 0
