Starting Silver Nitrate. It's a book about film and Nazi occultists. Seems like it was made for me. Might have to pause it to read the King In Yellow though and go through a deep dive on actual silver nitrate film.

I really enjoyed Normal People by Sally Rooney and Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan. Irish writers can freaking write. Not a word is wasted and the characters just feel so real. It's been really kind of nice reading non-genre stuff. The Japanese cover are also more interesting.

I'm really loving how Seance at Blake Manor actually incorporates diverse characters in a way that adds to the story and not just decorative. Had to restart the game though since I was pretty messy in my detective work.

Okay, I'm extremely addicted to the Seance at Blake Manor. I've never seen a mystery adventure game that really makes you think hard about how you use your time. All the characters are unique and fully developed. Also, you get to learn a lot about Irish mythology and history.

Watched Boogie Nights(1997) and I see why it's an iconic movie. This is the only movie with legit good acting from Mark Wahlberg. Weird to see him as a twink and weirder to see that his character was a Sinaboo. The GOAT Philip Seymour Hoffman was in it, too.

I finished the Marco Polo show and I have to say it makes a pretty strong case against adoption. I love how this mural is in Ahmad's room the whole time and no one else sees it even though it's so obvious. Lol. But yea I quite enjoyed the show even though it's a little bit dated.

I was already on my own when I found out my adoptive parents got paid $800 a month for me. They also claimed me as a dependent on their taxes, so I got less for uni. They went on monthly trips to Atlantic City and also used my siblings and I for sweatshop work. I'm still struggling b/c of them.
