( All are /Genuine ) I’m glad ! The erasure and hyperinvisibility of intersex people in, like, every aspect of life is so saddening, especially since intersex language is very commonly used in the queer community

From what I can gather cis-intersex means they were raised as a man and identify with that gender, yes ? If this is incorrect feel free to inform me. My general thought on this is it depends on their relationship with gender and how they identify with it, and I understand that with intersex people thoughts on gender and identity can be more complex.
Idk overall I dont think people who identify as a monogender man (this term essentially just means that male is the only gender they identify with) should use lesbian to describe their sexuality.

I also don’t think they should be harassed outside of cases where people Know for sure they’re doing it to cause harm/predate, because if you listen to them explain their thought process on it then you could have a chance at discussing your thought process on it and they might listen, they might not, but it’d increase your chances of changing their mind if you think their mind ought to be changed. I understand most people don’t have the patience for that, and it ain’t my business to tell them they gotta talk to someone they don’t wanna talk with (nor do I really care if they do or don’t this is just an option for people who feel passionate enough to yell at a stranger, I just block people I don’t like), and I understand as a lesbian how it feels to be on edge all the time with how people treat your identity; I get why people are quick to react just based off the first thing they feel. Most people are more willing to listen to you if you show you’re willing to listen to them, if you try to talk some sense into or yell at someone right off the bat they won’t listen to your point. I’ve had the displeasure of talking to plenty of people I’ve disliked or hated, but at least it helps with your understanding of other people and what they might be thinking when they do stuff you don’t like.

Awh yeah I get this (also yeah the mcu is just something where you either LOVE it or you just cant get into it at all. i struggle getting into marvel in general outside of specific characters),

maybe you two could find a compromise ? Like doing another activity while watching so you have the option of focusing on something else maybe ?? Or just explaining that they aren’t really your thing but you appreciate their effort and are willing to still engage with it when you have the energy aaahhh IDK I am not the best with advice </3 I just know that I personally would prefer to be told if the media I was showing someone wasn’t enjoyable to them so we could find something else to bond over 🤷‍♂️ so i am operating on such thought...
