i obviously dont think a game company should be violently attacked over AI. i wont buy a game if i know AI was used, and i dont think said games or the companies that make them should receive awards, no matter how good the end product is. i hope this clarifies my poorly worded post.

obviously if were talking about a smaller indie studio then yes, that dose push responsibility on to individual artists and programmers. i am mostly talking about mid sized and big studios though. i did also say what i meant by "punished": no awards and no sales. 2/x

i should clarify they the corpo class is the "lazy" class. the programmers and artists are forced to cut corners bc corpos decide it would make them more money to do so. i doubt the art team at these studios are super into AI as a tool. so yes, your right.

the use of AI in game dev is a symptom of the wider trend of game devs getting lazy in the past 25 yrs or so. they resell us the same garbage 7 times bc consumers just buy it. ppl need to have higher standards and devs need ot be punished for using AI in their games. no awards no sells.
