I couldn’t believe how many though we had a shot this game. Phil is a genius but Smith is an all timer and we actually match up very poorly with this team. Plus I legit think OSU is the best team in the country aside from their Texas loss.

It’s a key game for sure. Short week on the west coast where we usually suck. We play well…I’m not worried.. we play poorly…well…we’re Iowa. This game always felt like an exhibition to me due to the talent mismatch. Couldn’t believe some picked Iowa. The offense needs major work though.

I think Iowa is a playoff team with our schedule. Ohio State is really good and I think the best team in the county and, quite frankly, a horrible match up for Iowa. It happen, I’ve seen us whipped by this program before, just gotta rebound.

We’re likely a playoff contender still but the fact that the difference in this is basically a freak generational athlete and a stupid opening drive mistake is so frustrating. I think OSU blows it open second half but Iowa finds a way more often than not so who knows.
