Listening to pink Floyd, dark side live at Wembley in 1974. Rogers Waters clearly argued for the bass to high in the mix as it's an important part of many of the songs. But this just goes to highlight all his mistakes.

I could be critical and say that it's Suede playing to their audience, but it's more than that. It feels new and fresh while drawing from a lot of old influences (for me there's a lot of the cure). But yeah it's a smasher

When looking at band's long term trajectory I often refer to trainspotting "ya get old, ye cannae hack it any mair". But Suede are totally rejecting that trope. If they keep reinventing themselves they're going to out-do even the Bowie himself! A plaudit that I'm sure they would appreciate.
