Happy International Rabbit Day! Did you know rabbits are the 3rd most popular pet in the U.S. AND the 3rd most abandoned? If you're thinking of getting a bun, please consider looking up local rabbit rescues. So many bunnies are needing loving fosters & families! 🐰💞 #rabbitsofblueky #blueskybun

as a vegetarian I can't believe I have to worry about my sweet treats now having meat byproducts because why did the small donut place we went to use beef tallow on their donuts? tucked away into their FAQ and i'm glad I read before eating. it truly cannot be that much better than just a fkng donut.

A great post put together by the House Rabbit Society on how you can help rabbits affected by the fires. Shelters & rescues are in dire need. If you have IG you can find the post here: www.instagram.com/p/DEsm17nSYh... If not, I will post a screenshot in comments w/ alt text

An instagram post from house rabbit society that reads in bold white print "how you can help rabbits impacted by the la fires". in the bottom right corner is a real bunny, ears up with a light blue filter over the whole background.

The bun community is devastated to hear that Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue lost everything. They rescue elderly & disabled bunnies & do incredible work. We have followed them for years now & Cat & her team are amazing 😩 To help them rebuild: Zelle: ZoohGirl@gmail.com Paypal: ZoohCorner@mybunny.org

A photo on a destroyed wooden structure. A burlap tarp hangs from the wooden beams with tatters and holes. there are some char marks. Small wooden castles and colorful tunnels sit inside the structure, visible from the outside. They have holes and are also charred.

For those who don't know, the Guiness World Record winning "The Bunny Museum" in Altadena,CA burned down. All real animals are safe, but a life's worth of human dedication was reduced to ash. I am gathering more rescues/shelter info to compile. You can help them rebuild here: gofund.me/76de9673

a screenshot of an instagram post from the bunny museum. a large white real rabbit is stepping out of a circle of text which reads in large print altadena, california the bunny museum. the caption reads: "thebunnymuseum Sad and heartbreaking to report that The Bunny Museum burnt to the ground. Open 26 years. The world's only museum about everything bunny. Guinness World Record certified-1999, 2011, 2023. Saved only a few bunny items.
Saved the cats and bunnies. The museum was the last building to burn around us as Steve so valiantly hosed the building down all night long, but when the building next door went down, it spread to the museum"

We joined Tiktok in 2019 & have watched it evolve over the years. Although the money has taken priority, I've learned so much from it. Despite the media's attempt to villainize the app since the start, I think they're scared of its' power. This sets a dangerous precedent for all social media apps.

there's a cat from around the corner that I feed. he's always been a lil chubby so I know someone else feeds him. today I saw they're packing up the house he chills at & all of his hiding spots in their backyard have been cleared away to the street. I'm so nervous they're going to leave him :(

*gasp* a customer! (sang to the tune of helene bonham carter in sweeney todd)

an orange cat stares off through the camera from an outdoor cat shelter made out of a small plastic storage bin. a square is cut out in the front and has duct tape for safety purposes. he is pressing his paws down into a faux sherpa material and pine straw is spilling out of the front.

cats showing off their christmas hauls:

biscuit- an orange and white cat- is sitting on top of a tall curved cat scratcher. half of the scratcher is sea grass and the other is carpet. hes looking at the camera and his brow is somewhat furrowed making him look concerned. in the background there's white kitchen cabinets on a rolling kitchen cart.

Santa Paws came for our inside (2) and outside (6+) kitties. All with varying pallets and preferences so we've got choices 😅 (The outside cats came with our house)

Biscuit (orange) & Gravy (flame point) have 2 moods & none of them involve the brain cell.

A blurry screen grab from a video where an orange cat is coming up behind a flame point siamese cat and the orange cat is about to bite his butt.
