I'm not good at updates on socials but we got 4 or 5 'scenes' left on the current kpdh fic final chapter... I'm already at 10k words.

We're now two multi chapter fics and three one shots (one of which is getting another chapter) in. I have another oneshot, a long form single chapter, and another multi chapter on the burners. I still have not gotten an answer to my question. #kpopdemonhunters #polytrix

Beware. The difference between not eating and eating can sometimes be "I wanna rot in bed until I die" and "I'm a functioning member of society".

Dear brain: why have we written three one shots and a 6 chapter fic for kpdh now? And why are we working an yet another multi-chapter fic? Not mad, just curious. Love, Sam

Love when the hyperfixations all hit at once. This has been my brain for the last week. Nice that my own characters get to party up there. [Trigger gets to be here because I love her and fondly remember her from time to time. Also she was in the new story quest and had me kicking my lil feet]

30k words later and my fanfic is all done and dusted. It was fun, might do more in the future.

How I sleep after dropping the penultimate chapter of my fic knowing it's gonna hurt whoever reads it.

Did I say five chapters? Because apparently I meant six, oopsie.

Hell yeah! Happy to share. I've been hoarding all of the concept art I can find. Really hoping they release an art book.

An individual of taste I see. It's a close up from a piece of concept art of the girls that wasn't used.

I might have a slight brainrot problem, nothing to worry about. Really. #kpopdemonhunters [I have never been so brainrot I wrote fanfic, this is absolutely a problem]

Four panel comic: Anon asks "hey sam, what've you been up to?", sam looks awkward as a Kpop Demon Hunters poster looms in from the side, panel fills with art from the movie and a computer screen that says "11.5k fanfic, 3/5 chapters within a week" while sam looks still more awkward, cut back to sam saying "nothing" while wearing Kpop Demon Hunter merch.

I'm sorry I don't post more random thoughts on here, unfortunately I suffer from not being funny. A devastating condition with no real cure. Just know I love you all dearly and your silly posts bring me great joy with a nettling feeling of envy for what I'll never have.

Forgot to mention it, but my gay ass did roll Astra and Evelyn btw. They're ridiculously fun on a team with Miyabi. I've been getting things in order to try streaming my dailies casually. If that sounds fun, keep an eye out.

Death and its Harbingers... and the 'mortals' they've collected.

Two girls, one bundled up cold and very tired, the other chipper and sunny. Text: Lenore Ashwick [Medium], Winnie Kinsley [H. of Natural Death]

Two girls, one dressed for beach weather with a smoothy, the other a punk rock butch vampire.
Text: Sophie Wolfe [H. of Vacuous Death], Yori Oshiro [Vampire]

Two people, a middle aged woman in a lab coat, the other a nonbinary figure wearing a hooded long vest with smoke coming from the hood and obscuring their face.
Text: Dani Demirci [Mortician], Mors [Death]

Three women, one going prematurely grey and stressed wearing a button up shirt and suspenders with dirty sneakers, the middle a shorter one with long blonde hair and a fitted mask covering the lower half of her face with scars wherever she isn't covered up, the last is holding a simple wooden staff and has white hair and grey eyes.
Text: Adelaide Hawthorne [H. of Violent Death], Koh [Weretiger], Lulse [H. of Accidental Death]

Everyone fawning over Evelyn learning to cook for Astra you are correct, but I feel like we're also failing to comment on Astra willing to eat BURNT fried rice with a SMILE because Evelyn was kind enough to try and make it for her. Astra is not beating the "down bad" allegations either.

010

Only Sam, the Funeral Lord @wingedsam.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

What do you MEAN Evelyn learned to cook for Astra? What do you mean she was a workaholic who ate poorly but Astra noticed and cooked to feed her and when she tried to do the same [also poorly] she ended up studying so she could do a better job FOR ASTRA?! You can't just SHOW me that!

I gently take all of you by the shoulders and look deeply and kindly into your eyes: when you make ANY change to your health insurance, please please please tell any doctors offices you regularly go to or plan to go to asap. [You can see in my eyes that I long for death]

We did a monotype tournament a year or so ago in my friend group and of course I picked ghost types. Here's team Untimely Demise. Featuring left to right top row, Filianore, Patches, Yhorm. Bottom row, Hawkwood, Greirat, Anri. And my PC in the middle. [I did not win, but I did better than expected]

Pokemon Scarlet PC with a full team of six pokemon. Sinistcha, Gengar, Gholdengo, Dragapult, Mimikyu, and Ceruledge. They look ready to square up for a battle.

The waves of anxiety when creator brain screams at you to make something great, something that matters... and the small voice of reason piping up that sometimes all you can do is make something that'll save yourself. And that's okay.
