someday I'm gonna stop asking myself what the long-term consequences might be if I just...bring home a pigeon. someday I'm just gonna do it.

Like sure, there are definitely people who intentionally try to go viral with some unrelated thing in order to sell a product, but that's not what happens the majority of the time. It's ok if you just really don't like it, but as the song goes, don't be a dick about it.

I'm as anti-capitalism as the next leftist, but like...this a lil judgey bro, like we're all just trying to survive in this economic hellscape. Someone taking advantage of an uptick in attention to share their other work isn't a grift.

After years of having this glowing creature concept floating around in my brain, along with several adjacently-colored avatars with only a loose resemblance, I finally have a ref sheet. Yes the name has a Y. I am a millennial. Thank you @kestrelcorvus.bsky.social!

I feel like some men also need to remember they aren't the only gender that play games. A huge number of furry games and vns wind up feeling weirdly straight for me lol. Lady dragons aren't just for straight men!

unsolicited opinion time... as a suit-less fur, I have no dog in this race, but the clothespin fleas have always struck me as uncomfortably invasive. the folks crying about the death of whimsy need a primer on consent.

Hey creatives: Folks will remember. If you were aggressively against AI, like Gutierrez was as recent as last year, and then suddenly turn around and go NO I GET IT NOW IT'S AMAZING as soon as you get a project with a big payday? Your peers will not forget that. You will never be trusted again.

Here's a little more BTS from SF 3.4...I really liked the truss rotation @raeschen.bsky.social made for the second half of Audio Machina, so I brought it into my blend file and put a counter spin on some text.

The original Caribbean reef shark model and animation was made by 3D artist Robert Gutierrez (www.artstation.com/bgut) for digitallife3d.org. I want to extend a big thank you to @duncanirschick.bsky.social for providing such a wonderful library of creatures for non-commercial creative projects!

Y'all want some behind the scenes stuff? During early production on @fuskybutt.bsky.social's set I tasked @sillybeanthing.bsky.social with modeling and rigging this lovely little dragon to represent their partner @cynra.gay, which I retopologized and animated.

It's only mildly inconvenient when people put their sona species or w/e, but the obvious joke "pronouns" genuinely make me question the person's actual take on gender in the same way as if they were a rabid Harry Potter fan.
