#SongsOfSeptember: Day 30 Promoting myself's tricky since I'm more quietly working towards my own goals. 😅 I do art? Mostly though, I edit for @nikibond.bsky.social. Since she was kind enough to host this, I'll instead take this chance to plug her & Silent Suspension. She's awesome and deserves it~

Art of Luphos, the Ficioanima of Light. He's a large insectoid creature resembling a moth, butterfly, and firefly with a shiny golden carapace and yellow fluff. His antennae are dark with glowing knobs at each end, and his legs are long and thin. His wings, made of pure light manifest from prismatic orbs with webbed patterns. His mouth is less insectlike, fixed between two mandible-like appendages that can open and shut. His abdomen ends like a firefly. Finally, his forehead sports a clear gem-like crystal shape.

Omw back to spooky school 📚🧡 #art #cats

A warm drawing of a black cat wearing a witch hat and dressed in a coat and patchwork scarf. They sit atop an old-fashioned suitcase and hold a book and wand, with a stack of books beside them and a broom leaning against the case. Sunflowers and a signpost with a wagon symbol on it frame the background as they watch for their ride back to school.

Thank you~ I'm sure he'd love that. XD'

XD I thought I'd surprise you. I'm glad if you approve, even if it's not super polished~

Anyway, all that aside, thanks everyone for listening to me ramble about some of my original works for a change - and Aya, of course, for giving me the opportunity. I struggle to put myself out there, but I had a lot of fun~ 😁 Got to hear some great new music, too!

Here's quick Luphos for everyone. He's... pretty much the one and only ficioanima I can really show off. Please note: This design isn't totally finalized. His wings especially, since they're light energy and I don't have them quite where I want them yet. Still, people get the gist, I hope~

I knew spoilers and *still* ended up shocked by how well-executed the twists were, including the big one you mentioned way before I started reading it myself. XD' Pandora Hearts was really something special in that way.

Definitely do! It's wonderful. 💕 All her IX covers are, really. There isn't one I wouldn't recommend.

Speaking of, major shout-out to Erutan, who I hope is doing well despite struggling with damage to her voice. She still has some of the best VG covers out there. The fact that she made such a beautiful tribute to Vivi off the theme of an obscure optional area speaks to the depth of her creativity.

021

I remember wanting to learn how to crosshatch because of this song. Erutan did all the singing, instruments, and art herself, which I still find incredibly inspiring. Every time I rewatch it, I think: "I want to make something like this someday." And I do. I really hope I can, in some shape or form.

#SongsOfSeptember: Day 29 I'll repeat the vibes question with Erutan's lovely cover of Secret Library Daguerreo. 📖✨ I love everything about this cover. The nostalgia, the coziness. The sentiment, too. It's something of a comfort song for me, and one I tend to associate with this story & cast.

It's probably not easy to get these days before, either. XD' I'm glad I still have mine.

I think it is too, but there's something nice about owning it. Especially these days where physical media is dying. >.>'~ Plus it's got a pretty box.

Ooh nice! Yay~ 💕 I kinda wanna watch Phantasia again at some point, honestly. XD

XD' Actually, it is a bit Soul Eater too, I guess~ You're right. Surprised I didn't think of that. 😂 Another 2000s golden show. But yeah, agreed! 😁 And I'm sure it is. XD' You really snagged yourself a treasure there by today's standards~

XD Oh big time~ I loved that anime. EG (+ Kudans from Tsubasa Chronicles) was actually a bit of an influence on the familiars of the story I'm talking about for SoS, since they're able to transform into magic weapons Lucky you owning that! It's a niche anime these days. 😂 I agree, Cisqua is great 💕

Ahhhhh great choice! 💕 I love this song~ XD Hearing it again makes me nostalgic for Elemental Gelade

Second is Yume no Hate by Masami Suzuki because this song is underappreciated and I want more people to love it. >.>'' Also It's Tales of Phantasia. So yeah, kinda speaks for itself.

#SongsOfSeptember: Day 28 For @nikibond.bsky.social (shocker there, I know XD), I've got two~ First is Starlight Brigade by TWRP~ I found this song on a whim ages ago and thought the tone and art style suited the grand adventure space-fantasy feel of Silent Suspension and Emily's ragtag group~

Aww. 💕 You're all good~ XD I didn't have it, but it does really fit, so I do now. Thank you~ 😁 Both for this one and the others, too!

And then @windykazea.bsky.social, I've... been sending you songs all month, so I screwed myself over on this one XD'' But here, I thought Forgotten by NateWantsToBattle might be a nice song for everyone to cheer Asali up when she's struggling~ ...if you don't have it already >.>''

I dabble in graphic design & UI work on top of digital art. If you're familiar with Aya's super long TWEWY Halloween AU—The World Ends with Witches ( #tweww )—I'm her partner of sorts on that, too. She writes, I edit~ We're both crazy. My TWEWY OTPs are Neshiki & Rindoka. I love them both lots. 💕

Kazea @windykazea.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Hey there~ I'm Kazea! I'm a freelance artist and fiction editor who mostly draws for the TWEWY fandom, but I also have my own original projects that I may post about from time to time. I love video games, music, and all sorts of critters. Not much else to say really. I'm basically a giant nerd. 🌪️🦊

#SongsOfSeptember: Day 27 The story's still in early drafting, but I prefer uplifting endings to purely sad or tragic ones. So far as feel goes... I think Behind the Door by Nobuo Uematsu. This ending track is so warm and classic and never fails to put a smile on my face. Can you tell I love FFIX?

This song also fits as the first major inciting incident of the whole story since it involves Antag ruining the life of the MC *and* deadly water. (>.>'~ Antag belongs to @nikibond.bsky.social 🌊)

Kazea @windykazea.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Hating someone is sometimes compared to falling in love. In Antag's case with Asali, it starts out as one, then turns into both—which is arguably more terrifying for her than being outright despised. Antag isn't above inflicting suffering on those they obsess over, as Yorick knows all too well.

#SongsOfSeptember: Day 26 I'm gonna flip this around and do the antagonist vs. MC, Drowning by NateWantsToBattle. So remember that Antag from Day 10? I said we'd get back to them for their opinions on Asali... and this song is it—in a close to literal sense. They would sing this to torment her. 🧵

This song's a great overall vibe for the bonds most everyone shares with their familiar, really. Which isn't too shocking considering it comes from Pokémon and all. XD

Kazea @windykazea.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

#SongsOfSeptember: Day 25 "I Choose You" from Pokémon M20. The cast wouldn't be complete without their familiars, and Asali & Lynx are each other's ride or die. No matter what the world may say about them, Asali wouldn't choose any other companion to share her life with. Nor would she change him.

I wanted to show off the TV-size opening first because the awesome visuals with the lyrics are what makes it so suited to this cast and their shared conflicts. 💕 Full version and English sub lyrics below~ (Just be mindful of Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 spoilers!)

#SongsOfSeptember: Day 24 Can the main cast as a whole count as 'anyone?' If so, Namurasarera Lineage by Junna. I considered highlighting either Fiona or Ronan since they've only had shared songs, but this one's too perfect. While it really suits the MCs, it honestly reflects everyone well. >.>'~

#SongsOfSeptember: Day 23 If Asali's heart had a soundtrack, it would sound like Joe Hisaishi's The Sixth Station from Spirited Away. Melancholy piano is far & away her theme instrument, and this song evokes such a perfect balance of loneliness & longing. Yet tranquil, with an underlying resilience

One last example, 'cause this is the type of song I picture for Mag Mell's famous forests. Totally different game and series (Atelier Iris 3), but it has the right feel~ Hope everyone enjoys the mini music tour~ XD

While I want the setting of this story to breathe its own unique culture, it is flavored and inspired by various Celtic influences, so I imagine the sounds being a blend of FFIX's OST and Crystal Chronicles OST. Lots of fiddle, pipes, harp, piano. CC also uses a lot of crumhorn, which I also like~

#SongsOfSeptember: Day 22 Coming off yesterday, there's Dillon, a traveling bard. He can play a number of instruments, but since he wanders about so much, he tends to focus on what's easy to carry—like the tin whistle, the concertina, & his mainstay: something akin to the Irish bouzouki or cittern

One character actually does play an instrument - the flute. XD So that could count?

It wouldn't be Tamers if they did. 🤣

Bonus manga version~ (...which does tread into some general favorites since their anime adaptations never got to cover the full story. >.>'~ Not yet, at least) Knowing me, I'm probably forgetting to include something really obvious on both of these, but yeah~ 9koma.com/en
