Im going back to centipede again, I played a version a few years ago, it had modern features, extra power ups, fancy bombs, new enemies etc. it also had a retro mode which was basically the Atari game as it was back then.

No sorry, quite the opposite, sorry I'm not explaining myself properly. To me your game as it is now is modern, a retro mode would be more the game without power ups and new features if you get what I mean. Something simple, the basics, but hard.

I really miss the days where you can just quickly pick up a game and play, I remember centipede, used to completely zone out playing it... I think a lot of ppl are feeling the same. Might be an idea to provide a classic mode and a modern mode on your game!
