archiving MV content is a time-consuming yet rewarding pastime for me. i'm doing everything i can to prevent this series' history from fading into obscurity ;] also, these files are properly sourced and attributed, so you can see exactly where i found them! #magicalvacation #マジバケ

an excerpt it’s 100% a non-issue but the MS localization is so needlessly wordy at best, and excessively quirky at worst. i could talk about this for hours with how many translation spreadsheets i have thanks mister amtower

すみません。「ジャカデス」とは？ダジャレだろうか？ #マジバケ #翻訳

A pyrite from the Japanese version of Magical Starsign named Jakadesu.
His dialogue translates to, "I'm sorry for being born. At the very least, please sell me to a store so that I can be of use to you."

art vs artist 2024年なんと混沌とした時代 ;P

A 3x3 grid featuring eight illustrations I made this year. There's some weirdo in the middle but idk what to do about him.

when i discovered this game last year, i was enamored by the character designs, graphics, and snappy two-sided narrative. admittedly, the combat was a bit lacking, and the platforming segments (mel's atelier >:/ ) weren't all that great, but i adored the plot and surprisingly deep lore

(if it isn't obvious, i'm a huge kameoka nerd) this might honestly be my favorite game of all time, solely because of how daring it is, both in gameplay and artistic direction. hell, i've written an academic paper on this game, and how its creation led to the establishment of brownie brown ;p

predictable, but true for almost 6 years now. i've translated thousands of lines of dialogue from it, written extensively about its history, and (over the last two years at least) been keeping its designated wiki alive for those lucky enough to discover this hidden gem of a handheld RPG
