I haven't used my Windows laptop for 2 months (I'm a Linux user). This afternoon @ 1:30 p.m., I booted up Windows, and it's been updating nonstop for over eight hours now—freezing, restarting, updating, freezing again, etc... It’s literally enough to drive you crazy. WHO STILL WANTS WINDOWS?

Why can five states block the world? The #UN Security Council has 15 members, but only 5 permanent powers can #veto action. Can a system where one state blocks global action still claim equal justice? World needs is a global system in which humans rights, the rule of law, and peace cannot be vetoed.

@wsocial.eu - I was one of the first to subscribe after Davos, but now I wonder what's the use of WSocial. We had to show our ID to get access, but now it seems there are many backdoors without the need for verification. Maybe I just go back to Mastodon. Nice try, but I feel a little betrayed.

@wsocial.eu - I have a serious question. We had to go through a rigorous ID check (passport, photo, etc.) before we were granted access to WSocial. Now I’m seeing a large number of “regular” Bluesky accounts posting on WSocial. Where’s their ID check? Wasn’t that exactly the point of WSocial?

On Aug 3, I'll start a blog about my journey to compeet at the World Championship Sprint Triathlon in 2031. We are now 3y and +15kg after my last World Champs (Hamburg '23). In 2031 I'll be 65 years old. Follow the journey of an old man trying to get fit and fast again. It will be a hell of a ride.
