Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 12/07/2026We’re feeding a happy magpie family in the garden, and the youngest dropped of a small gift today. It’s a piece of cement shaped like the head of a magpie. 060 6

Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 26/06/2026Nothing special, but this is the timelapse of making a @dungeonalchemist.com icon in #procreate. Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 15/06/2026Had to go through 20 cm of brick and the inner chimney lining, to end up with a small square hole. 000 0
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 15/06/2026Yesterday evening we heard bird noises at the bottom of our chimney. The hearth’s been taken out two years ago, so it must have gotten past the netting at the top. There’s no entrance whatsoever to the bottom of the chimney, so I had to go through the wall. 230 3
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 01/06/2026You mean like so? Then it's a group, not a union? 100 1
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 29/05/2026On merging two shapes, the border gets outlined and added. Is that intentional, @sketch.com? Makes for very tricky pixel work... 100 1

Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 21/05/2026It's exceedingly weird that there's no option to create a new variable from a selected color present in the menu, @sketch.com... No longer having the swatches available under the custom pane makes it VERY hard to use. 100 1
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 19/05/2026Cleaning up the @dungeonalchemist.com @sketch.com file. 😐 Pray for me... #uidesign 0101 10
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 11/05/2026Hey @sketch.com, the new draw objects settings reverts to a default blue and no border setting. This makes drawing a graphic onto another graphic invisible. Is there any way to change this? 100 1

Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 27/02/2026Ok, we got the value sketch to a somewhat decent linedrawing. Now to transfer it to a canvas and find a model. 🙂 #oilpainting 042 4
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 26/02/2026Sketching continues until satisfactory! I think this is more or less the outline for the first #oilpainting, “The Keeper”, or something. Now to find a model. 🙂 Thoughts? 071 7
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 23/02/2026Sketching will continue until satisfactory! I’m limiting time of execution to go further out and faster, so we’re now at ten minutes. I also think I’ll be delving deeper into Hieronymus Bosch territory. #oilpainting 050 5
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 22/02/2026IT’S GETTING WORSE! 😖 #oilpainting (I’m just trying to get a decent sketch. Hoe hard can it be?!?) 071 7
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 22/02/2026An evening of #sketching and this is where I ended up… I’m terribly out of practice. 🙄 Might be a fun one for a first #oilpainting. I dunno… 050 5

Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 15/02/2026Without further ado, my all-time personal favorite #oilpainting: Metanoia III, by the talented James Roper. There is much to be said about the work, but I’ll let the painting do the talking. #fineart #contemporary #abstract 28110 81
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 15/02/2026One more #oilpainting, this time personal work. “Memento”, one that holds a special spot in my heart because it was the very first painting I used for @dungeonalchemist.com. 🙂 #indiegamedev #finearts 49111 91
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 15/02/2026Something more out of the ordinary: a 1930 oil by Renders. Why I like it: it’s at the same time very traditional (depiction of the Madonna) and insanely surrealistic. There’s three, they’re obviously models and they’re gigantic in a winter landscape. Odd for 1930. 🙂 #oilpainting #fineart 190 9
Wim De Hert @wimdehert.dungeonalchemist.com · 15/02/2026Onwards! 🙂 Stephan Pelmus, “Labyrinth” Oil and silver foil on canvas. Pelmus’ work is firmly rooted in the shamanistic and byzantine tradition, with a mental, highly symbolic journey depicted as a spiral. #oilpainting #fineart 070 7
