Opal really is gorgeous! I definitely thought about grabbing her but I had purchased Scarlett’s (the sheep) full fleece a couple weeks ago from Marcia… & it’s a very similar shade of grey 🩶 Wait until you see how clean her fleeces are - Practically zero VM.

Strangely not a lamb… just super soft. Supported spindles are incredible - once you get the hang of them, it’s an addiction. Thank you :) I use a lathe & carve parts by hand.

This fiber is an anomaly for sure - such soft Romney with a color that looks dark grey in some light & brown in other light. I bought her 2024 & 2025 fleeces & plan in spinning all of them both 😂 The spindle is one of my supported spindle (I make them) in the wood Lignum Vitae, made for longwool.
