Beyond that stuff even, we initially got asked to make use of the AI program at my work and it couldn't even make a status matrix for me without fucking it up, I had to create the it from scratch and it took half the time I wasted trying to get AI to do it and you bet your ass I let my boss know.

No, you're refusing to acknowledge that I concede the technology is useful in certain cases. I said that in my original post. That isn't how it's being marketed or implemented, and you know it. You know why people hate it and they're justified in feeling that way based on their interactions with it.

It has areas in which it is useful. That's fine. It has been a complete boondoggle and waste of time in my work. It spits out crappy "art" stolen from people. Massive Datacenters are a blight. In most of the ways it is being applied and pushed it is useless.

I did say "kind of" because you're making the case the problem isn't the tech itself but the people who own it, which is nonsense. The tech is crap in most of the ways it's being applied, it's a novelty. So yeah, you basically said people need to embrace AI, just not as it's currently being sold.
