Today's FT: "[Musk] has posted or reposted 616 times on X during [the last week], at least 225 of which were about UK politics, according to FT analysis as of Wednesday morning. Including replies, he has posted more than 1180 times in 7 days." He also has 12 kids and Tesla. I'm impressed.

Two Storm Wood by Philip Gray is an exceptional crime novel set in the aftermath of WW1 if you're looking for something to read this weekend. I listened to it on audio and Justin Avoth does a lovely job. Anyway, Philip Gray goes straight into my list of novelists that I want to read more from.

A man is digging up the road outside my house. He says it is to lay a pipe. But he might be digging for gold. It's hard to know what to do. So I sip my coffee and watch him carefully.
