I first went to the Kennedy Center in 1970- nearing completion. On the tour they told us the origins of all the fabulous parts: marble from Italy, the fantastic red carpets from somewhere ( maybe turkey) the amazing chandeliers. Everything from a different country. Trump better not touch it.
