Jersey @williamhorning.dev · 07/04/2026from the looks of things, it seems to just be an issue caused by messages still getting bridged as the edit/delete events come in, making it so the bot doesnt realize it bridged the message. this is a bit complicated to fix, but should be dealt with in the nearish future 110

Jersey @williamhorning.dev · 28/03/2026hey! you can totally DM me the output of bridge status, but that wouldn’t contain the bridge ID itself. by almost instantaneous, i mean what most people would be able to do when they spot a typo after sending a message and edit it. if you wait longer (between ~300ms and ~1sec), it should work? 110

Jersey @williamhorning.dev · 17/02/2026i'm not quite sure, i think this is likely a problem with stoat as they're still working on upgrading infra on their end and with optimizing the event handling code, since that's been kinda crazy for them. if it isn't their fault, it's likely a race condition with socket reconnects on my end 010
