Smoke Break.
Skeleton Crew, unmasked, sitting on the edge of a building, smoking as he looks off in the distance. It's night, there's a full moon, and it's snowing. behind him are snow covered peaked roofs with chimneys, one of them smoking.

Hitting that sad spiderman walk. He must have the autumn blues.
Skeleton Crew, my original superhero character, walking with his head down with a crowbar in hand. Autumn leaves are flying through the air.

Dan Mora study warm up
A study of a Dan Mora batman drawing. The drawing is from a cover of Batman - Santa Claus Silent Knight. The actual reference is cropped from that cover, it is of Batman's Portrait.

Next to it is my drawing, a more gothic looking, purpley blue Batman with long ears, a collar and visible seams.

"Can you believe it? I've been to Blackgate, the Asylum, and City. Never seen Batman once, just lucky I guess."
A drawing of batman crouched and ready for a fight, like he's just dropped down from above. At the top is text that reads: IT'S DA FREAKIN' BAT!

Until now I knew him only as that silly skeleton suit.
A page of drawings for Skeleton Crew, a duplicating vigilante. Most of the page are drawings of him in civilian clothing and portraits. There is one drawing of him in his vigilante outfit, a skeleton suit with Converse and a spiked battle-jacket.

There are notes next to the portraits that read:

- PUNK
- KID
- BUZZCUT
- BROKEN NOSE
- PUFFY EYES
- A BRUISE OR TWO

Portrait of The Creature, inspired by the many adaptations, most notably Guillermo del Toro's recent movie and Bernie Wrightson's Illustrations.
A sketch portrait of "The Creature" from Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. He is a bald patchwork man with yellow and grey/blue skin, deep sockets and no nose. He is wearing a black iron collar with a bronze padlock. The same drawing later in the story. The collar has been removed and long black hair has grown to his shoulders.

Page 1.

Panel 1 - A small cabin isolated in the wilderness, it is night. There are two silhouettes of horses in the background, against the trees. CAPTION: The night began with a graverobbing. By morning it was Dixon who was in his own grave, and I was the one who put him there.

Panel 2 - A man writing on a piece of paper by candlelight. Behind him through a window we see the full moon. CAPTION 1: It is true that I sent three rounds through Emmet Dixon's back, my best friend. Yet I do no concede that I am his murderer. CAPTION 2: Of the two of us Dixon was the skeptic, to the point of being faithless. I am quite the opposite, and omnist, others say superstitious.

Panel 3 - Three protective charms and symbols, the evil eye, Christian cross and two carved acorns. CAPTION 1: This skepticism cost Dixon his life.

Panel 4 - Four old books stacked on each other. CAPTION 1: These "legends" and "folk tales" are real damnit!

Panel 5 - A dreamcatcher. CAPTION 1: They're all real!

Panel 6 - Two cowboys on horseback silhouetted by a sunset. CAPTION 1: Despite my many warnings, Dixon was set on this ancient burial mound. He convinced me, as always.Page 2.

Panel 1 - A wide view of the graverobbers digging up the mound with pickaxes. It is night, behind them are mountains and trees and the full moon. CAPTION 1: For hours we struck pick against dirt and rock, until we hit something that rang out. CAPTION 2: A tomb. CAPTION 3: A tomb which I myself would have no part opening, to which Dixon mockingly chuckled.

Panel 2 - The protagonist standing holding his lantern up. CAPTION 1: I stood at the base whilst he forced the tomb open.

Panel 3 - A shadowed figure climbing out the hole, only white eyes and teeth are visible. CAPTION 1: I never saw exactly what was inside, but I knew something was wrong when Dixon crawled out with this elated look on his face.

Panel 4 - An extreme closeup of Dixon's face with his eyes in shadow and a wide smile. CAPTION 1: A smile wider that I had seen on any face.

Panel 5 - The protagonists hand shakingly hovering over his pistol as Dixon approaches with a pickaxe in hand, still smiling. CAPTION 1: I thought at first that this could be a trick. A cruel joke characteristic of Dixon, so I tried to talk to him but the "joke" persisted. CAPTION 2: My hand hovered over my holster as I backed up.

Panel 6 - Dixon swinging with the pickaxe but missing our protagonist. CAPTION 1: Before I could even clear leather Dixon was pummelling and scratching me with a strength I knew he did not naturally possess. CAPTION 2: It was also then, I got a close look at his eyes.

Panel 7 - A closeup on Dixons featureless red eyes in dark wrinkled sockets.Page 3.

Panel 1 - The protagonist is flying back, gun and glasses are airborne. CAPTION 1: Dixon's possessor assaulted me not only physically, but vocally. CAPTION 2: No animal had ever made such sounds. Neither the lions of East Africa not the angry bulls. CAPTION 3: It sounded like a veritable herd of wild beasts orchestrated by Satan had formed a hellish choir. CAPTION 4: In truth, I put up little fight until I was struck with such force I sent heels over head several feet away.

Panel 2 - A profile of the protagonist looking in the distance. CAPTION 1: I went unconscious before I hit the ground. When I came to, he was fleeing on horseback.

Panel 3, 4 and 5 - More protective charms. A seal of Solomon, a carved Egyptian scarab, and Mjolnir. A caption stretches across all three panels. CAPTION 1: I can only surmise the reason he didn't kill me was because of my "superstitious" precautions.

Panel 6 and 7 - The protagonist shooting his gun. Panel 7 is on top of 6 and is a silhouette of a man sliding off his horse as it runs. CAPTION 1: I scrambled to the gun and stumbled to my feet and pulled the trigger. CAPTION 2: Over and over until he slid off his horse. CAPTION 3: I was surprised I hit at all in my stupored state.

Panel 8 - The protagonist is walking up to the corpse of Dixon which is covered in bullet holes and blood. CAPTION 1: It didn't sink in until I saw his body up close, and the holes I put through it, that I killed my friend.

Panel 9 - The protagonist standing sombrely with his hat in his hand, shovel and lantern beside him and a horse and the moon being him. CAPTION 1: I wrapped his body in his bedroll and spent the rest of the night digging the grave he will lay in forever, unmarked.Page 4.

Panel 1 - Night, a horse standing with it's head turned to it's left. CAPTION 1: Part of me believes, hopes, he would've wanted me to do what I did.

Panel 2 - A close up of the horses head in profile, a red shine is coming from it's eye. CAPTION 1: Another part of me is comforted knowing that whatever took over Dixon is back in the ground.

Panel 3 - An extreme closeup on the horses eye, which is featureless and red. CAPTION 1: Samuel Clarke, 1878.

Panel 4 - Just the colour red. THE END.

Rocketman coloured and inked. Might add more later.
A character drawing of a British RAF jetpack pilot. He is wearing a brown leather pilot jacket, over a navy blue flight suit with fur lined black boots and gloves. On his back is a jetpack and on his head is a full faced flight helmet similar to the Rocketeer's.

At the top right is the word "ROCKETMAN" in a bunch of different fonts, some of them using the RAF roundel as the "O". Beneath the logos are six sketches of alternate helmets, some look more like Ironman and some like the Rocketeer.

I read Weapon X then made this.
An unofficial comic cover for Wolverine. It shows him in the Canadian wilderness in his Weapon X attire, being spotted and lit up by a helicopter's spotlight. There are dead security personnel impaled on trees and logs around him. There are more trees going into the distance and there's an aroura borealis snaking its way across the sky.

At the very top is a banner that lists the price (60 cents) and date (2nd of October) as well as, "A MARVEL COMICS LIMITED SERIES" with the comics code authority stamp. Under that is, "WOLVERINE" in the typical title treatment.

If you see this post your blue art 💙
A square sheet with six Batman drawings. In all of them the suit is blue and grey with a large yellow bat-symbol, tall knee-high boots and tall, thin ears.

One drawing is a simple shoulder-up portrait, another is him gliding towards us, knees tucked in, another is him drenched in shadow, parting his cape, another is him squinting, neck craned forward with a small flashlight in hand. The last two is one crouching, hand on the ground with his cape spread out and the last one is him darting forwards, hand out and cape flying behind.

Tommy Atkins, again.
A British World War One soldier running amidst gunfire. The soldier is kitted out in the standard British infantry man uniform, with some additions. He is wearing a khaki trench coat, has an M2
gas mask on his face, with its bag hanging from his neck, and another trap to another bag that is under the coat.

His SMLE is slung over his shoulder because his hands are occupied by a Webley Mk.IV and the helve (handle) of his entrenching tool.

The ground he is running on is mud with columns of it pushed upwards from the impact of bullets.

The top half has one hand on his conjoined companion's shoulder and other holding a large cleaver by his waist. The other undead is holding a luger by his waist.

There is a text box beside them which reads: "During their last desperate hours of The Great War the German Empire redeployed their dead. Those in several pieces were stitched into one. Conjoined warriors, unrelenting, unfeeling, and, most importantly, harrowing.

The conjoined shock troopers shared a coat sewn together from their owners corpses. Though often haphazard and alien in proportion, it was a representation of their union and kept their appearance in line with the rest of the German Imperial Army."

Two comic panels. The first one, on the left is tall and is a portrait of Darth Maul, staring right at you. There are halftones on his left side which is in slight shadow.

It's #PortfolioDay! It always takes me by surprise! I'm William Goodby, aspiring comic book artist and illustrator. If you'd like a cover, character design or to publish mine and my friend's weird west story DM me or shoot me an email. 📧 william.goodby2000@gmail.com
A cover for a book called "1885 MASSACRE". The looks worn and damaged around the edges, in the centre is a glass plate negative of seven outlaws, all wearing strange masks, in front of church doors. At the bottom it has my friend and I's names, "Harrison Howell" and "William Goodby".A double page comic spread of a saloon at sunset, the patrons within drinking, playing cards, and playing pool. There is one patron in particular that is focused on, a man alone at the bar. We see that he is the town marshal, judging by his badge. The very last panel is of someone running to the saloon and it is not night time.Another double page comic spread, continued from the previous one. The man running is at the saloon doors, we it's a deputy who is saying, "Marshal, they [pant] they got Clay, Deputy Clay!". The Marshal puts his drink down and goes out into the night, the other patrons gather around a window to watch.

The next panel takes up most of the second page, it's of a headless man, with a cross where his head should be, riding a doleful horse wearing the riders hat. The severed head is in the riders lap and the townsfolk look on in confusion and terror. A panel of the Marshal's reaction is below that, he whispers to himself, "What the fuck?".A drawing of a female old west looking character standing next to their horse. The character is adorned with all sorts of trinkets, like gold discs around their hat, a necklace, bracelet and some flowers hanging from their hip. They have a gun belt, spurs suspenders and big scarf and shroud, that their hat sits on top of. In one hand they have their gun and in the other they're holding a cage with a chicken inside.

Their horse is standing behind them, it is white and silver with brown barding with similar gold discs on some of it, and there is a blue bedroll stowed on the back. Between it's eyes is the painted rune Algiz.

The Lavender Knights. "Pick freely." said the custodian, leaning in gently. She did just that, taking, to her senses, the most vibrant and pungent wild flower that decorated the shining knight. The same flower that hung in wreaths from their horse. The same flower of the eponymous Order they served.

They consist of him tumbling with his billy clubs out with the cable spinning around him, a shoulders-up portrait, a waist-up portrait where he has blood on his face, a side profile, and him vaulting over a chimney with one billy club in hand whilst the cable trails behind him.

Next to the profile is an upside-down red pentacle, which is the logo I have used on his chest, instead of the DD.

At the bottom of the page are drawings of his utility belt and all the things he keeps in it. They include his billy clubs, smoke pellets, lockpicks, tracking devices and extra billy club cable.

Edward Blythe - The Yellow Devil.
Some drawings of an old west outlaw called "THE YELLOW DEVIL" which is in text at top of the page.

There are two full body drawings of him wearing a pale yellow devil mask which bares a large grin, black shirt and gloves, yellow striped trousers with suspenders and a black gun belt and black boots. The other drawing is the same but with a long yellow coat. To the right of those are two portraits, one without the mask and one with. Without the mask he looks like an older man with black receding hair and a large black moustache.

Some days drawing feels like throwing a pebble, other days it feels like this. Today's a boulder pushing day.
A simple drawing of a silhouetted man pushing a boulder uphill.

The Pig.
A drawing of an old west outlaw named The Pig. He is a large man with a sewn together pig mask that covers his entire face. He is wearing a simple, but bloody, shirt with equally simple jeans and gun belt. The belt has an ornate silver buckled with a black jewel at its centre.

His right hand his a hoot and his feet are bare. At the top of the page there is text that reads: "THE PIG".
