Very bellendish! One of the things that helps humans cope is we retell and find our place in even our worst stories. People who remember every detail and experience it as though it is happening now without reflection have PTSD. It is not forgetting, but the way we remember that matters.

Yay! I'm the guy to ask! Here's what you do. You put your soup in a travel coffee mug that closes and seals, then throw that and a spoon in a bag so it's easier to carry. ✨ Two years' experience with a walker until I healed! New knees and walking great now! 🚶🏼

Besides the cats don't need a door. If the door is closed, they know to just jingle their collars or meow, and I will let them in. Also there is a toy electric mouse tied to the doorknob by a string. When they bat it, it squeaks loudly, and I let them in. We call it the "door mouse."

The only project getting done around here before the first snowfall is tree pruning. I've got a ladder, an electric saw, and it's got to be done. My poor old tree in the back can't take the weight of snow on longer branches and they break.

Got into it yesterday, and deeply regret it. Went with an English muffin and a piece of fruit. Side note: I love my new cheap toaster tongs! I can't tell you how many times I've burned the tar out of my fingers trying to fish English muffins out of the toaster.
