Came home to find David Howe's "Shard of Life" waiting for me. It's the latest BBC #DoctorWho Audio Original. Can't wait to get stuck in.

A rather impromptu visit to #Llandudno! Weather is lovely and for once the cable car is running. Quite stunning views.

#DoctorWho Convention versus #Bikers Convention. I don't know which intimidates me the most.

At long last I have seen the 1996 Paul McGann TV Movie of #DoctorWho on a cinema screen curtesy of The Quad in Derby. My fuzzy wobbly snap doesn't do it justice. It looked and sounded terrific.

Reading Alex Storer's well researched and excellent book on the 1995 #DavidBowie album "1.Outside". After I've read it, I shall buy the album! 😁

A few day trips surrounding our 33rd anniversary (on August 4). This one is Newcastle, which, by a strange coincidence, is hosting a Blake's 7 convention. Honest.

Numerous people have asked if Diane Morgan's comedy #AnnDroid is anything to do with my "Anne Droyd". Mine is a children's adventure about a robot schoolgirl. So, no. I am putting the first three books through a fresh edit and working on IV, V and VI to bring my series to and end.

Had a great time watching #TubewayDays perform hits from #GaryNuman's heyday. Christopher Fielding has Gary off to a tee. Especially loved their rendition of "Please Push No More". Other faves included "M.E." and "I Die: You Die".

A considerable tome by Six of One: The Prisoner Appreciation Society founding member David Barrie. I am proud to have had a part in bringing it to print. #theprisoner

The work of Beckie Hawes. Her charcoal piece based on a photograph has me off to a tee, fat neck, jagged teeth and all! To be composited into a new album cover. Remarkable talent. #art

Great night in Lytham with our favourite folk-pop band The Leisure Society. From L-R: Mike Siddell (violin), Nick Hemming (singer-songwriter, guitar, ukulele), Moi, Carol, and Christian Hardy (keyboard and backing vocal). They were, as always, sublime.

Variations on a cover. Which looks best? Two and four may look identical, but they're not. Do we like the blue title or prefer the 'transparent' one? #music #vinyl #coverart

Enjoyed the "Valiant" #DoctorWho convention in Sheffield today. It was great to catch up with Alex Storer and Jonathan Lumb. Nice to see actress Lesley Dunlop interviewed, as well as writers Stephen Gallagher and Glen McCoy, and director Graeme Harper. Sadly, I arrived too late to catch Colin Baker.

One for fans of classic #DoctorWho. The location used for the temple on the planet Sarn in the 1984 Peter Davison story "Planet of Fire". It was more the Planet of Intermittent Sunshine when we were there. Earth coordinates Mirador del Río in Lanzarote.

Been enjoying the latest from Alex Storer's The Light Dreams project. This album, Malverk, puts me in mind of the synthy atmospheres and ambiences of Vangelis, whom I listened to in my youth.

At The Grand in Clitheroe, the Complete Beatles, although they look *incomplete* here thanks to the dry ice and my position in the audience! 'Paul' and 'John' were quite authentic vocally; all were excellent musicians.

Hosting the Series One chat. From left to right: myself, Dave Edwards (chaperone to the boys back in the day!), Ceri Seel (Beanpole), Jim Baker (Henry Parker) and John Shackley (Will Parker) . "We thank the Tripods." Bit of a dream come true for me, this. A wonderful day. #thetripods

Happy to have finally met composer Dominic Glynn at #Whooverville, who back in the day gave us a version of the #DoctorWho theme for the 1986 series only, and some memorable incidental music. I loved it when his theme came out on record. I was 16.
