Once again the whole tomorrow man gimmick stuff is being forced by characters other than Jon Kent, this time it's Booster forcing him to change the costume. This team really does hate Jon as a character.

Kind of sad to see how they are still trying to push Jon as TM, Thankfully it looks like New Titans hasn't been forced into the change.

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I'm so glad that New Titans has been releasing at the same time as Superman Unlimited, it's helping stop the hatred of Jon Kent emanating from that run and tomorrow man gimmick.

Lanterns Is hitting it out of the park, I didn't expect to be looking forward to each episode this much.

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Poor Meyer having to draw that ship but it makes sense that the fans of Jon Kent being Tomorrow Man also push for him and Damian to be together.

The People Vs Gorilla Grodd, the new show from DC Studios, is coming to HBO Max. Our first foray into the true crime genre.

Is Lana really going to be called Kryptonite Woman now?!?! This along with the tomorrow man name for Jon is really making me question what the hell is happening with the Superman Unlimited creative decisions. Does the writer even like these characters.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Not the biggest fan of Jon and Eddie getting together, but at least it would be better than him being mentally manipulated into a relationship with Nia.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

I truly question what had to have happened behind the scenes between Superman Unlimited #7 and the Superboys arc. That issue was so good and the arc feels like it was done to appeal to people who hate Jon.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Why on earth would Jon date Nia, that's incredibly stupid.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

They're attempting to appeal to the part of the fandom whom hates queer people by removing the super crest and forcing him to hide his face.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

No, of course I didn't. An entire arc of the villain winning and Jon just going along with it instead of actually defying him. You don't think it is odd they're forcing Jon who is an openly queer Superman to hide his face completely and remove any connection to the Supers with that horrible logo.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

He is still stuck in this despicable gimmick and suit but at least they have ditched half the mask of queer shame. Still don't trust this writing team at the moment.

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Looks fun. Hopefully Jon will rightly be back as Superman once this is done.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Your Unlimited run has been fun but I really hope Jon is allowed to go back to Superman soon.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Still better than him being mentally manipulated into a relationship with Nia like that creative team wants.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

I can't really see how it will be interesting to see Jon shackled to the horrible id and suit of TM. Hopefully a writer that likes him will undo this damage and rightly make him Superman again.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Suit and name still look bad here, at least he isn't wearing the horrible mask of shame.

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

I really hope that Slott is being forced to make Jon Kent Tomorrow Man because of editorial otherwise it will really harm my trust in the Super books and especially Superman Unlimited.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

I really hope the Superman Unlimited creative team refuses to appeal to the homophobic people and Jon gets to be Superman again after the Kingdom of Zod story.

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

I seriously hoped that he would be free for someone else to fix the mess she made with that hateful book.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

Oh great, is Maines once again threatening Jay Nakamura with her writing, how disappointing.

100

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

They're really trying to push that Jon and Nia could potentially be together, this is utterly stupid.

I guess this is the only pride thing we are getting this year. I have such a deep fear that Maines will try to drag Jon into this to have Dreamer attempt mentally and sexually assault him again.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Still disappointed that DC decided to scrap the pride anthology this year. I just hope this Bad Dreams "event" they are doing ends up more positive than negative given one of the writers seems to dislike queer superheroes, it makes me very nervous.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

I really appreciate the fact that Brombal likes and respects Jon in New Titans. I also hope that it means the tm gimmick is temporary for SU.

010

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

I'm still not over how much I hate this (hopefully temporary) Tomorrow Man gimmick for Jon Kent.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

Looks exciting, hopefully this ends with Jon rightfully getting his Superman identity back.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

It looks very interesting, hopefully we are getting the return of Jon as Superman in this event. 🤞

010

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

I seriously hope it's temporary, otherwise I need to know why Slott and Meyer chose to strip the openly queer Superman of his connection to the Super family and why they are forcing him to hide away.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

Oh god, they're going to keep that Tomorrow Man name / suit gimmick for this event.

100

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

God damn, that Miami sprint was frustratingly disappointing.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

I guess the mental / sexual manipulation of Jon by Dreamer isn't known to many people based on this.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

I hope Jon and Jay are kept away from this for the sake of their characters given how Nicole obviously hates them.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 17/04/2026

I really dig this cover. I'm glad that the writer hasn't been forced to degrade him into that tomorrow man identity, New Titans is rising in my anticipation as a Jon Kent fan.

They didn't even bother to give him one of his Superman suits or the one he came out in and they have refused to use the Superman name. What an utterly incompetent decision, feels like the CoNM / people who hate the idea of a queer Superman decided this.

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

Seated for Project Hail Mary, so excited for this.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

Even Chiitan agrees with this statement lol.

110

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

It is really bad, basically exists solely for Dreamers character and to spit on the idea of a queer Superman, Jon and Jay solely for her benefit. The other three are there completely uselessly.

111

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

I doubt they are even fans of Jay, just the one they make up in their heads.

010

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

I'm going to guess if this is just the pride issue for this year that hopefully Mianes will be stopped from attacking and devaluing the other queer heroes during it.

110

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

Are they even going to do a pride issue this year?

100

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

Oh god, this is going to be used to spit on Jon and Jay even more isn't it.

100

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

I hope that Tomorrow Man identity is temporary for the event, the name is dumb and the suit looks bad. It's like something a Secret Six fan would choose since they hate Jon.

300

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

Thankfully the newest Superman Unlimited issue seems more respectful to Jon than that book released last year.

000

Will Darkshades @willdarkshades.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

Was shocked to see the Secret Six creative team was the villain of Superman Unlimited 11 lol.
