I am not happy about the AI hype in business, and I have been personally hurt by it, but I have a physicist friend who is excited about AI’s potential applications in the sciences. So, the situation is complicated.

I mean, the Indian students in Bo French's post are wearing cowboy hats and flashing the hook-em horns at a University of Texas game. You can't get a much more powerful image of assimilation than that. The only thing making them stand out to Rufo and Keeperman is the color of their skin.

"This is your brain on drugs" is probably the more famous catchphrase, but I haven't heard it in years. By contrast, in my house we say "I learned it by watching you!" as a joke on a regular basis, and have been doing so for many years.

The implication seems to be that Smith met and coordinated with Fani Willis, but even it that were true, I'm not sure I understand why it might have been illegal or even merely improper for a federal special prosecutor and a Georgia state district attorney to meet.

I read many stories last year during the push for the “big beautiful bill” where Republicans seemed aware that slashing healthcare was going to hurt their own constituents and come back to bite them in the midterms. Today they all seem surprised.

I interviewed him years ago. Really charming. He told a hilarious story about buying a sitar in a store that specializes in Indian music. The gist of it was that playing “Norwegian Wood” in a sitar store is worse than playing “Stairway to Heaven” in a guitar store.
