Agreed. I applaud Josh for running against Gym Jordan but Josh is not going to win against Gym Jordan. Josh has already lost the election before it has even begun. Now with an independent candidate against Gym Jordan, I think the Independent would put up a better fight.

I doubt he will win CA-5 this year. CA-5 is rated Safe R by virtually every election forecaster and Tom McClintock has far more primary votes and congressional fundraising than Michael Masuda does. I would be surprised if Michael won in November of 2026, but I doubt it.

Unfortunately, I doubt Joshua can beat Gym Jordan. Why? 1. Gym Jordan has far more fundraising and name recognition and far more primary votes than Joshua. 2. Gym Jordan's district is a deep red district and is arguably the reddest district in OH. Good luck winning but it will not be easy.

I see where you are coming from and yes it is worth the fight. I too fight for what's right too. But, if I am so tired of losing in a deep red district or state for so long (at least nearly a decade), then I would move due to mental/emotional health reasons if I can afford it. But that is me.

I am not saying to throw up your hands. Keep fighting the good fight. That being said, she‘s the underdog here based on virtually every measure and unlikely 2 win. Also, money does not decide elections; people do. Case in point, Beto O’Rourke had more fundraising in 2018 than Ted Cruz and Ted won.

I do agree that she is a strong candidate but the district is far too red for her to flip blue. Remember Gosar won his last election by 30 points in 2024? Odds are that he will win his next election in 2026 even under a blue wave year. In addition, every election forecaster has AZ-9 as Safe red.

Also, even Paul Gosar's siblings came out against him several years ago. Unfortunately, the vast majority of Paul's constituents think like him. That is why they keep voting for him. I predict AZ-9 will do what they do best and that is re-elect Paul Gosar in November of 2026. Do better AZ-9.

Unlikely for Dani Sterbinsky to win AZ-9. First of all, AZ-9 is rated Safe Republican by every election forecaster meaning Paul Gosar will win. Also, in the primary, Paul Gosar had 67,577 votes compared to Dani Sterbinsky who had 31,371 votes. In summary, Paul Gosar is likely to win in November.

That said, I do think he will beat Johnathan Nez but in a squeaker in November. Also, Eli Crane had significantly more primary votes than Johnathan Nez on Tuesday and Eli Crane has significantly more fundraising than Johnathan Nez. And Johnathan had an internal poll where he is losing by 3 points.
