Technically he should be pushing/holding her legs back for it to be a press but still love this ❤️ (don't kill me)

How on earth is it disingenuous when I'm just commenting on the general discourse I've witnessed? And what does your almost being homeless have to do with this?? I don't even consume HP or participate in the Fandom but I can still see that this behavior is problematic?

Just to be clear I think it's totally fine to boycott something if the official release/merch is allowing JK to cause harm to others but where do we draw the line for people who simply enjoy the fantasy? If you keep attacking people's autonomy and rights to expression it'll only make more enemies...

Be deemed bigoted (because that descriptor would belong to the creator and their actions) only serves to breed distaste and resentment towards the Trans community for choosing to suppress people's rights to express themselves in the end.

As much as you think so the same people you're so willing to admonish are probably already fighting against wage disparity, job losses, and a myriad of other things that affect them directly and nobody can fight a battle on 5 fronts. The push of counter-hatred against a series that physically can't-

See i don't like this mindset simply because you do need to pick your battles, to say idling on one issue is a problem while someone is likely tackling/battling another only serves to create friction between people already doing their best on separately important things.

Morticia and Gomez Addams lol but the suit has to be too small/ripped up for Vico

I'm with you there, really feels like they're all just clout chasing atp

An escape they've likely held onto is still an act of cruelty 🤷‍♂️

Also when it comes to media and fandoms in general it's not like anyone participates to spite someone, you see it and it either resonates with you or not and if it does it's just part of your life now. Stripping an entire world away from ppl that enjoyed it as kids who just want to keep enjoying-

I don't get the whole Fem Malfoy thing, it's totally fine to boycott a series (i.e. not supporting the official releases or merch) but if you're going to argue that nobody should interact with a fandom or piece of media because of the views/practices of its creator we may as well trash most of them?

Brown and indigenous peoples because something about the skin color, cultural designs or yeah even stereotypes 😔 excites them. I just don't know that that quite constitutes as blatant racism as much as just interest in other peoples. But I that also depends on the artists' portrayal...

But I would also argue that when it comes to those things they provide very different experiences. An all white spider-verse while it would be weird could potentially be written along the same storyline and plot points and change very little, while people pursue pornography including black-

Yeah I do see how that would be weird but it just sounds to me like your issue is more in the fetishization of black skin because the way you framed this initially is that it's racist to arbitrarily skin swap a model when it doesn't change anything other than the color presented...

I always viewed content like this as a "take your pick" kinda thing like personal preference... I still recognize that it's hella lazy but I've seen some 2d artists take similar approaches minus the overall facelessness and it just seemed like they were trying to appeal to a wider audience...
