🌡️ By the end of the WildPosh sampling campaign last June, the temperature around Albacete and Murcia had reached 30 °C. The bumblebees felt it too - they flapped their wings at the entrance of the nest to keep it cool. Have you noticed bumblebees doing this near a nest? Share below! @um.es

Curious about how researchers collect nectar from flowers? 🌸 This short clip shows nectar sampling in action - part of the WildPosh fieldwork carried out by researchers from the @um.es last summer. 🔬 What do researchers find when they analyse nectar? Drop your guess below! #WildPoshInTheField

🐝 There's nothing quite like seeing your study species in action. WildPosh researchers from @um.es placed bumblebee nests at different sampling points. Soon, the bumblebees got to work, flying around and collecting pollen from nearby flowers. 🏵️ 🔄 Repost! #WildPoshInTheField

🌼 This flowering oilseed rape field in Albacete was one of the sites where researchers investigated what wild pollinators encounter in and around agricultural landscapes. Red flags mark the distances from the crops where nectar and pollen samples were collected. 🔄 Repost! #WildPoshInTheField
