Awww, opossum doesn't like the new pavers! We put some pavers under the bird feeder so that the seeds that drop don't get moldy by sitting on wet ground. Apparently, this opossum was going about its business until it smelled/saw the new pavers and then "nope'd" right out of there. Trail camera. 🦊

The high school across the street plowed a huge furrow in the field. These Canada geese were super confused (all 120+ of them) and stood there for the longest time until one brave soul flew just over it instead of continuing to clear ground, then had to walk over rubble. You have wings, guys!! 🪶 🤣

HELP, Plant people! 🍃 My gardening group is telling me that this is kudzu, but iNaturalist says it's eastern poison ivy.

Underside of the leaf, which is covered by dirt, but I'm not about to brush it off.

Three leaves, middle stem is longer than the other two, pointed tip, two top leaves show thumb shape. Middle where the 3 stems connect is red.

Honestly, the one that works best on my Faber Castells is a cheap unbranded one I got from an employee appreciation gift package. It’s super sharp so there’s no crushing of the pigmented part of the pencil.

I used to watch that YouTube channel, but stopped when Alan got extremely irate and acted out in anger straight into the camera, which sent my PTSD into overdrive. I never watched it again. Maybe I should give it another try.

This hits home HARD! My German shepherd, Simba, was my rock during my abusive first marriage. Only after I left my ex, moved across the country and settled into a new home did Simba exhibit a monstrous tumor that had been hiding inside of him. He passed knowing I was now safe.
