One response to "unavoidable increases in fuel costs" is to invest in generation (i.e., solar, wind and batteries) that does not use these fuels. Just saying.

I fondly remember when he would lecture large corporations about how they were not pricing in climate risk. I suppose one of the risks was thet he would become PM of Canada and accelerate fossil fuel production and exacerbate the climate crisis.

Took three 12-yr old boys to ropes course in forest. They begged to stay longer & try out the extreme course! Then, on 1-hr drive home, kid you not, they discussed BOOKS almost the whole way 🥰 We need to save the planet, turf the billionaires, etc. Because the kids are alright & deserve a future.

Very encouraging to see plug-in solar sweeping the world. The really cool part is that it is driven by humans wanting some control over their electricity supply, utilities and governments are forced to play catch up. I hope a critical mass in #Yukon follow suit.

Kananaskis is essentially closed due to bridges washing out, rock and mud slides. Ottawa had epic weather and extreme heat ystday. West Nile mosquitoes are in Edmonton. Manitoba has had very serious flooding 2X in a month, and vast amounts of sewage got into the rivers. But heh another pipeline!!
